reza
Hello, new to the forum. Want to start by saying thanks to everyone for all the great information on this site. So I want to get my second transplant done within the next 2 months. First one was done by Dr Meshkin in Orange County. I'm not happy with the results. I just dont think he did as many grafts as promised. I was a class V when I had it done about 3 yrs ago and now I'm a class VI. The surgery only took about 4-5 hrs. So now I'm thinking of going to Dr Deyarman in San Diego. What do you guys think of him?? thanks

reza
The transplant was done about 4 yrs ago. Now there is no way I can say if he did 3000+ grafts or not but judging from what I see on my head now and seeing a couple of friends who had similar procedure done with the same number of grafts, I just am not happy with what I have now. The surgery went very well with Dr Meshkin, I had mild pain for a couple of days with no complications. He started around 9 am and I was done by 2. So I don't know, but I don't have alot of hair to show for it now. I'll try to post some after picture. I don't know if I have my before pics
Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted August 21, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 21, 2013 Reza, I'm surprised to hear you say that about Dr. Meshkin. He's been a recommended physician here for a long time, and his work is normally stellar. Have you tried speaking with him about the perceived subpar results? Sharing some pre-operative and post-operative images may help us assess the situation and the first procedure as well. Dr. Deyarman is great as well. However, I would carefully review your goals with him and make sure he can achieve what you want before booking a procedure. Good luck! Senior Member hsrp10 Posted August 21, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 21, 2013 A lot of the top notch most-recommended surgeons are booked several months in advance. At least three months is the normal wait in most cases, so good idea to see if you can get on their waiting lists ASAP to even be considered. go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)
