Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted January 30, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 30, 2013 Recently, Dr. Umar was featured on Good Morning America in a segment about eyebrow transplantation. The clip is short but quite interesting. Regular Member NW3VKY Posted January 30, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted January 30, 2013 WOW....most of us are trying to grow hair on our heads and people really care about implants for their eyebrows ? Only in Redondo Beach or Beverly Hills. The trend used to be thinner eyebrows and less bushy eyebrows, now the bushy ones are in style ? I don't get it. To each their own, I guess. Did anyone catch the cost ? $6-8K ! For about 100 grafts by my calculations. So, about $80/FUE graft.......

Senior Member michaeljames Posted February 12, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 12, 2013 Thank you for the link. We often hear about scalp hair transplants in the media, but rarely about eyebrows. This is can be quite informative for those who have not yet heard of the procedure. GNX1
I think big thick eye brows on a women to be very unattractive. I thought THIN was in. guess not. apparently people have more money then brains to spend $6-8k for 100-150 grafts. the extraction procedure would be the same so why would transplanting grafts into ones eye brows cost 10x his normal FUE rates? I guess when their husbands make $6-8k a week they will just break out the check book and pay up without questioning it. Dr. Umar is one of the world premier FUE doctors and if money was no option I guess id entertain him as well.
