Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 21, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 21, 2012 Beisides the poor results of my hair transplant the clinic which performed it thought it was a good idea to threaten me. (they can read this and know who I am) They stated they would post my personal info on my profile under my comment section. They should read my blog portion... That is quite alarming and unethical. I'm sorry the transplant is not turning out at this point. Have you considered going the wig route? HT's are very unpredictable with women. I will wait until I have had other hair transplant surgeons to determine if my hair transplant is failure. It is pretty obvious, less hair where I had transplanted hair and lack of sprouts. I will give it 12 months. Has this Doctor ever heard of HIPPA? Posting your personal info. under your profile would probably get his or her licensed pulled. Any Doc that does this is asking for a HUGE lawsuit! Have you considered going the wig route? HT's are very unpredictable with women. What on earth are you talking about? Maybe I should have said female "hair loss" is unpredictable. For men, we generally know it is MPB. For women, it could any number of health related issues which often results with diffuse and unpatterned thinning. This directly correlates with HT's for women as some don't have a specific donor area. Thy is why many women are turned down for HT's and many doctors are hesitant to perform HT's on women. Senior Member Sean Posted August 1, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 1, 2012 Bluebird, I think if anyone threatens you like that, don't waste your time with them but file a complaint since it is illegal on many levels. If they can do it to a nice lady like you, they can do it to someone else. There are plenty of docs that you can ask on this site. I hope some can review your case and genuinely try to assist you with your concerns and get you where you would like to be. If I was a doc and had the facilities, I would try but obviously I am a patient myself and hope you get what you want. Everyone says to wait 12 months but I think a doctor can determine if there will be substantial enough change till then. Good luck and wish you the best.
