Senior Member Drew35 Posted January 10, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2010 No problem glajo. My condolences on the loss of your Grandmother in such a terrible way, also. I'm sorry you have had bad hair transplants in your past. Have you had a consulation with Hasson and Wong or anyone else? Maybe someone can help you with a repair? Good luck! - 1st Transplant: 5,485 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 2nd Transplant: 3,100 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 3rd Transplant: 5,035 grafts with Dr Sanusi Umar My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong
Senior Member drmstx Posted January 11, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 11, 2010 WOW!!! Great results Drew. The next 7-10 should give you a lot more satisfaction. The wait sucks, I totally agree. I could not really see the crown in the pics that you posted. Have you been using rogaine/minoxidil? Did it have any favorable results on the crown? Dr Wong is going to address my crown in the 2nd surgery. - 1st Transplant: 5,485 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 2nd Transplant: 3,100 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 3rd Transplant: 5,035 grafts with Dr Sanusi Umar My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong

Bill - Seemiller
Looking real good Drew. How are you feeling about your results so far? Best wishes, Bill
Senior Member Megatron Posted February 13, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 13, 2010 I think that's pretty much the best result one could hope for with such a megasession (which is very impressive in itself) over such a large area. No doubt a 2nd procedure would be required to fill in the density. So long as you're oomfortable with that, which it seems like you are, then I'm very happy for you. Senior Member EpilepticSceptic Posted February 13, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 13, 2010 Drew, What was your measured donor density ? You said Dr. Wong stated your donor is great, but what are the specifics ? Did he use a densometer ? I'm just curious to know what Dr. Wong considers to be great donor density. 80, 90, 100, 110, or 120 FUs per cm squared ? Also, is your hair shaft diameter fine, medium, or coarse ? With such a large area needing coverage I knew I would need at least 2 or 3 surgeries. - 1st Transplant: 5,485 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 2nd Transplant: 3,100 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 3rd Transplant: 5,035 grafts with Dr Sanusi Umar My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong

Yeah I knew I would need at least 2 surgeries going in to this. I probably will need to have 3 total surgeries to achieve desired density. - 1st Transplant: 5,485 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 2nd Transplant: 3,100 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 3rd Transplant: 5,035 grafts with Dr Sanusi Umar My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong
Senior Member Drew35 Posted February 19, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 19, 2010 Here are some photos my wife took of me using some concealer at 8 months. I still need to figure out how to cut and style my hair. Right now I think it looks the best just slicked back. 8 months top view with concealer: 8 months side view with concealer: 8 months side view with concealer: - 1st Transplant: 5,485 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 2nd Transplant: 3,100 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 3rd Transplant: 5,035 grafts with Dr Sanusi Umar My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong
