FUT in combination with BHT performed by Dr. Feriduni – 8706 FU in multiple sessions

Follicular Unit Transplantation in combination with Body Hair Transplantation performed on a Caucasian male with:

 

- White scalp hair

- NW VII Class N

- Scalp donor density of 45-55 FU/cm2

- Punch grafts and scar tissue in the scalp donor area as a result of a previous hair transplantation ex domo (in 1978)

- Depleted scalp donor area

- Torso Donor Index 8 or above

Treatment plan:

 

- Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 1000-1500 FU (Oktober 2001)

- Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 800-1000 FU (Oktober 2002)

- BHT test with ca. 50 FU (August 2008)

- Body Hair Transplantation with ca. 500 FU (January 2009)

- Body Hair Transplantation with ca. 500 FU (February 2009)

- Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation in combination with BHT (Oktober 2009)

- Body Hair Transplantation in multiple sessions with each session ca. 500 FU (January 2010-April 2011)

Excellent presentation! Probably one of the most educational pieces on body hair transplantation that I've personally seen.

 

Additionally, I think the final frontal hairline looks excellent. It seems like blending the BHT with the scalp grafts (extracted via FUT) really created a soft, natural appearance and transformed the patient's hair.
