I want to fue repair my trico scar, but don't want to use my donor hair for that. Since I am naturally smooth (i.e. no chest, arm, or leg hair), would it be possible to use arm pit hair? I mean, its useless hair in its current location, and its just used to conceal the scar. I dont have much facial hair either, but am willing to sacrifice whats inbetween my chin and neck hair too.

I've never seen an arm pit hair transplant. The most common body hair to use for transplantation is beard hair.

Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008

Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013

Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020

If you really do not want to use your scalp donor hair for FUE into the scar I would recommend chin hair before armpit hairs. There are thicker and have a better chance of surviving and helping to camouflauge the scar compared to the thinner kinky underarm hairs.

Makes sense. But I dont have much facial hair lol. Im the typical non-hairy Asian guy. I'll talk to my doctor and see if my lack of beard hair is even enough to make a difference on my head. Thanks!
