Senior Member sjones23 Posted August 22, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 22, 2011 HI, Ive just started using Finasteride and got it from Walmart, i was shocked at how cheap it was, it only cost me $9 for 30 pills and i didnt even need to use my insureance. I read a thread on here of a guy who used Fin from walmart and has had 10 months of shedding and no gains. Please help:(
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted August 22, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 22, 2011 I've been doing Walmart Fin for over a year and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. The $9 is part of a generic drug program they started a couple years back. God bless 'em. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 23, 2011 I purchase my finasteride from my local grocery store's pharmacy. They price match Walmart. Mine is Dr. Reddy's and it's the only one I've ever used. It's been effective for me and I love the price! David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Senior Member Spanker Posted August 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 23, 2011 It is TEVA. That guy is me you are talking about prolly. I have not had any gains, but no losses either. I have been in a super shed for a while but still have not noticed any loss. The fin is fine at Walmart. Senior Member Rachmunas4life Posted August 24, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 24, 2011 I've been going to Walgreens. I never thought of price matching or checking around for better prices. I was a $30 for 30 pills last year. The last time I paid it was $50 as they went up a few months back. I'm going to ask about price matching or I'll drive 20 minutes to Walmart and get groceries too as I'm running low on Fin. Thanks for saving me money!
