Lmao that is crazy! I wish we could see what's happening in the crown. I take it the crown is growing a bit slower is it?

Just as awesome as the pics. You can see some thin regions here and there. But that's an absolute grand slam for one procedure. Great job.

Matt so am i right in saying the crown must be growing slower? No shame in that i'm just interested as my crown took a really long time to grow and i have noticed they do in general.

The plan was not to cover the crown but wait for a second surgery. Like most patients, his desire was for maximum coverage and density at the front and top. However, enough grafts were obtained to place a few in the crown area too.

As Stellar plans to come back for further photo updates, we'll keep you posted on how he's doing.

The bald guy has blond/light brown hair. And the “after” video shows a guy with thick black hair. It seems kind of fishy to me.

A more general question – if you do 6k grafts does that leave any more hair more additional procedures. How many grafts do donor areas normally have (what is the range)??

On average, donor areas have about 7500 grafts but I imagine, Steller is well above that. I had a 5200 procedure with Rahal and was told that I have about 5000 left which could be extracted in two more procedures if needed.

Nothing fishy here at all.

d-mo,

I think you'll agree that many people routinely dye their hair. Take a look at my results over the past two years and you will see a variety of shades.

I think we see a lot of pre op post op hair colour changes simply because thicker hair is mainly made up of terminal strong hair strands which reveal more colour in total throughout. I my self have been noticing colour changes at 4 month post op but my hair isn't any thicker strangely.

Dmo there is nothing fishy about this Dr Rahal does work like this on a constant basis to be fair it's that good i wouldn't believe it either if i was new to his work.

The patient 'Stellar' has posted to this forum himself.

The colour changes are probably due to the transplanted hairs being stronger than many of the hairs that existed in the balding area pre-op. Miniaturized hairs are often lighter in colour. Then there are the camera exposure differences due to, well, the light reflecting qualities of a bald head.

If you look at the photos and pay special attention to the side of Stellar's head pre and post surgery, you'll see that the hair colour (not to mention the texture) is consistent.

Mattj,

Could you send me a PM? I've tried to contact you a couple of times but don't see any messages in my outbox and haven't heard back from you - presume there is a problem somewhere!

If you could include an e-mail in your PM I'll get in touch ASAP.

Regards,

Chav

That is absolutely incredible, Obviously, the majority are not that lucky to be able to pull 6k+ grafts, but who said high norwoods cant get a "one pass"! Outstanding!
