Regular Member patwillpat1 Posted June 15, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) Need 3000 frontal grafts. Can't decide on FUE or STRIP. Doctor consultation/feedback are split in the middle. Here's what different doctors have said for my case: Dr. Feller - would only do STRIP in my case. Dr. Umar - would do FUE Dr. Bisanga - recommended STRIP for me, but would do FUE if I really really wanted. Dr. Armani - would do FUE Dr. Rahal - would do FUE or STRIP. Question: 1)Would you choose FUE or STRIP?? (based on the reputation of these doctors and what they have recommended) Edited June 15, 2011 by patwillpat1
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted June 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 15, 2011 patwillpat1, I personally would not feel comfortable adding my two cents without seeing photos. A few pics would be helpful,I like Rahal the best on his list, seen some pretty good hairline work from him on the forum.
Senior Member Dutch Posted June 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 15, 2011 Definitely need pic to give you advise. Going to Armani is suicide. Thought he was 'retired' anyway. For such an amount of grafts, strip would be the more logical option http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Moderators Al - Moderator Posted June 15, 2011 Moderators Share Posted June 15, 2011 Umar and Armani ONLY do FUE, so of course they will recommend that. If you're trying to decide which is better for you, I would only consider what Dr's who do both strip and FUE are telling you. Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted June 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 15, 2011 With 3000 grafts it's more efficient to go with the FUT procedure and you will most likely see better results. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. Senior Member Atomic Posted June 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 15, 2011 Personally, I would go with Dr. Feller. He knows what will work best for you. Listen to him. He won't steer you wrong.
Senior Member HARIRI Posted June 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 15, 2011 I would go for Rahal first, unless you are in Europe you can try Bisanga. However Rahal is my best choice especially hairlines.
