Dr. Paul Shapiro—2409 FUT transplantation on a Norwood II—12 months post op

This patient came in for his 1 year follow up very happy. I used most of the grafts to recreate his hairline and frontal-temporal angles. I did reinforce his Central Core area with the 3 hair grafts.

His graft breakdown is:

2409 grafts—4788 hairs

1’s-476

2’s-1487

3’s-446

I'd like to add that this patient's result looks better in person. He is fortunate to have ht meds work so well for filling in the slight thinning in the crown too. Great donor scar, crown taken care of by meds, natural hairline without signs of hairloss in the front....he is understandably happy.

This is another example of meds working great hand in hand with surgery. Outstanding!

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D
