I also post on a German website, and there have been a lot of positive comments and results about Hattingen Hair. In Europe there are a few other good Docs, with proven results.

It is a pain to cross the Atlantic for a procedure, especially coming back with your blue operation hat.

Knowing what I know now, If I required another procedure I would go back to the same Doc, you buy what you know.

Not so great for the others who are certainly all excellent- but the way it is for most of us

In terms of docs/clinics who haven't gotten any publicity to date on this site....I think Bisanga is likely #1 in terms of not sharing any work, over the backdrop of being very competent (incidentally, very interesting, too, being a leader in FUE).

If I had to pick one clinic whose work I'd love to see more of, and of whom I think could be a great addition to the community, it'd be Bisanga.

Mwamba is another european-FUE specialist who I've seen some interesting work from, and heard good things about.

PGP who/what is HDC?

Thana, I also liked Bisanga's work until that patient posted on here a few weeks ago who had that large gap between his existing hair and his transplanted hair. It was clear from the immediate post op photos that he did not transplant far back enough to cover the gap that already existed. It was very strange.

HDC has one base out of Cyprus, I think...Dr. Michelis or something like that...they do a lot of combo work -- FUE + strip...I've also seen some *very* impressive work by them come to think of it. But, I beleive they actually have multiple docs operating out of the HDC umbrella; Dr. Michelis is the only one that I'm familiar with. They're documentation is good, too; super high quality.

TC, ya, I agree, it was very strange, indeed. And looked like a screw-up from everything the patient posted.

After seeing more of Cooley's work i would definitely place him in the top doc ranks. i would even consider him for a procedure as i'm not sure i would want to shave my head again....

I would NEVER shave my head for a surgery. The fact that Cooley, Alexander, Konior, both Shapiros, Reed, Ross, and many other great doctors do not require shaving has me convinced that it is not necessary if the session is of an appropriate size.

I was playing around Dr. Meshkin's website today and I must say that I was impressed with what I saw. Unfortunately, you can't click on any of the photos, and there is only one before and one after, and no top down shots. Without better presentation I would never consider him for a surgery, but I was intrigued.

tc17,

I think for medium sessions, 2500-3500 a lot of coalition doctors are really good, but either dont have "too much following on this forum" or have patients that dont post their procedure pics. i tend to think, the more obsessed get more transplants, and research more and post more..! no offense :-)

IMHO, Dr. Paul Rose is another underrated doctor.

Disclaimer: I am not a qualified medical professional nor do i work for any doctor, hence these are my personal and honest views. Hopefully I will benefit someone as I had benefitted from this awesome forum.

Did some digging into HDC, they appear to hold consults at the same place as FUEclinics, FUEclinics is run by a former clinic director of the infamous Norton clinic who claims to have severed ties with Norton, even though both use the same surgeon Theo Vernikos, and both appear to use the same Glasgow clinic. Whats going on? to me, it looks like HDC, FUEclinics and Norton are connected.

Hello guys, I will try to put some light on the questions that you are discussing here.

Concerning the team of HDC our medical director is Dr Michalis and he is in charge for every procedure performed at the HDC clinic, despite the fact that we have a huge but not less experienced medical team, until 10 persons are fully committed for every procedure, including dr Michalis, dr Fotis, dr Dinos and 8 assistants, this is a standard protocol in most clinics who are performing large sessions, such H&W, Forhair and others, despite the fact that for an FUE procedure the number of assistants needed are less than in a strip procedure.

Concerning the place for consultations our offices are situated in London at Regus offices building, I assume that considering that it is a building who rents offices most probably there will be hundred of companies and I can confirm that HDC have no relation with any other company at the building or in the HT industry, HDC clinic are based in Cyprus and all the procedures are performed at the clinic in Cyprus.

Cocerning direct experiences from patients there are some english patients who had a procedure recently and that manifested their interest in to share their experiences in the forums, not sure about if they did already or not, I will ask my colleague Alex and George, who are in charge of the english patient if some of them did already.

In the meantime here you can examine few experiences posted by HDC patients in Spain, maybe you can use a translator and if you need anything just let me knonw.

Escar,

You are welcome to post on our discussion forum. However, please do not use promotional links on our forum.

I recall you claiming to be interested in having Dr. Michalis considered for recommendation. I believe last we spoke, Dr. Michalis was going to fill out the questionnaire we sent in order to learn more about his experience, technique, and hair transplant philosophy and then call me to discuss. However, I never heard back from your clinic.

Best Regards,

Bill
