Senior Member Jotronic Posted May 20, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2010 This patient came in to give us an update on his results. In the past we showcased his results with dry hair. Today we can present his results with gel and a shorter cut. 4200 grafts were transplanted in one session into the front half of his recipient scalp four years ago. Senior Member hdude46 Posted May 21, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) i'll put it as simply as i can...this guy looks awesome. he's lucky to have such thick hair and i really like the hairline placement and softeness. i'd be interested to see how he looks with some thickening wax instead of gel. i have a a few relatives and friends w/ full heads of hair and when they gel their hair it shows scalp. its cool to see a ht can be styled in multiple ways. thanks joe! Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted May 22, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2010 One of my favorite results I've seen in a while. The hairline frames his face nicely and overall he's got a great, age appropriate look! David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Senior Member dabuski Posted May 22, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2010 Joe public would never know this guy ever had hair loss!
Senior Member Robin-at-USHR Posted May 22, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2010 GREAT natural looking results! This patient must be thrilled!! I also agree with Dabuski that the public would never be able to tell that he had a hair transplant done. So many people come into our office scared about the pluggy look and I honestly believe a lot of it has to do with the fact that new transplants are now almost impossible to spot! Those people who are self-conscious about their hair loss but refuse to look into hair transplants likely aren't aware that new technologies produce results like this and that they likely already know someone who has had it done privately. Senior Member M&M Posted May 22, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2010 What a great set of photos. I first must commend you (again!) on providing such detailed before and after shots from just about every conceivable angle. It really does help to educate and demonstrate what is possible in the right hands. As for the results, it's quite shocking just how natural this is, despite the gel and short haircut. It looks great and absolutely nobody could ever detect this to be a HT. Combined with a great transformation from the original state, and it doesn't get much better. On a different topic, I sure do miss the large photos you used to be able to embed within the messages. ___________________________ 1662 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Spring 2006 1105 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Fall 2009 M&M Weblog

Senior Member Spanker Posted July 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 27, 2012 It might look like I am working for H and W tonight, but I am not. I typed "years" in the search bar and limited it to "title only" I bumped this for people to see "older" results, since it has been a recent topic. VERY natural. Senior Member PupDaddy Posted July 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 27, 2012 Thanks for the bump, Spanker -- and very best luck on your ht with Dr. Konior next week! (not that you will need luck with this talented, experienced surgeon, but good luck anyway) You're right, this Hasson result is an excellent example of a terrific looking transplant on a mature patient.
