hi Bill and b spot,firstly let me say i respect your opinions but as far as im concerned hairworhys opinion wasnt educated it was yet another dig at farjo.why cant mick defend his clinic?you should be taking hw to task for lying about the "full coverage"thing.as mick said in another post pat asked him to get more involved in the site showing results,blogs,etc.well its a bit of an uphill struggle when ever the name farjo gets a mention someone jumps straight in and starts spouting rubbish about a "few seconds" of tv they watched.thats what pisses me off!

hi mick,glad someone else was watching the same show as me,hairworthy obviously wasnt.norwood 4?low hairline?he was a 3 at worst and his hairline was maybe 5mm if that under his original.as for wanting full coverage ive watched it 3 times now not once does this guy say anything of the sort.he looks like a guy approaching middle age and wanting his temples filling in,nothing fantastic or unrealistic.seems to me hairworthy you have something of a grudge against the farjo clinic ive read your comments on abbie which seem to fly in the face of other opinions posted here.im surprised you could bring yourself to say the surgery looked decent even if it was only for a "few seconds".at least the man is willing to show his work and bring hts into the public eye.i understand you had a bad experince with noble ,dont mean one bad apple spoils the whole lot.

hi hungry,have you considered the drs farjo in manchester? ive had transplant there and 16 months on i am happy with my results.dr farjo is very approachable and very enthusiastic,his team are the same.i looked at your log and noticed you have the same level of hairloss that kieron bracken the come dancing/rugby star had. he had surgery with the farjos, have a look on their website for his results.

hi robbie,and welcome.i dont think anyone on here would advise getting a ht at 21 you still could have a lot of hairloss to come.i think this factors highly on where to take donor and then place it.i know what your going through but dont give up hope,definatly get on the meds straight away to slow/stop/and maybe regrow some of your hairloss.finax ive not heard of im asuming its a generic finastride, if it is get on it and also minoxidil 5%.what norwood are you ?at 21 id lost a shitload of hair i was gutted i shaved the lot off.stayed like that for 15 years untill at the ripe old age of 35 i thought fuck it time to get my hair back.did the research,got the good dr farjo to put half of it back where it should be and a year later ive got hair back on my noggin.have patience son and do your research dont make any rash decisions.

folica,youngguy is right,my hair is well under 1/2 inch at the moment and youcan barely make out the scar.in a week or 2 it will be undetectable. dallas, when you say you are in the public eye are we to assume that you are a well known face?if not would it not be easier just to bite the bullet shave down and if anyone notices tell them the truth or make up some far fetched story about a heroic tussle against a samurai weilding maniac.even if you are famous would it not be reasonable to ask you to come clean and fight some of the stigma attached to this proceedure and baldness in general.your thoughts please.

dallas,i really think you should do a google search for some transplnt surgery images.you dont seem to be to clued up on the ins and outs.this is a major op.

hello dallas,i was in the same situation as you once the redness of the recipient area has gone (2 weeks tops)i was able to buzz down to a no3.this is longer than no guard i know but is still short. as youngguy said it is all to do with the scar if it is done well and is nice and thin you will only need the min length of hair to cover this.you may experience as i did a very slight step in the back of your hair.or you could always be very open about your proceedure as i was then you can have it as short as you dare.

so i decided to clipper my side and back yesterday,i use the largest head i have and do this every 4 weeks.anyway head comes off just behind the left ear leaving a hole in my hair to the scalp.ive had to buzz down to no2 on the sides and back which left the top looking silly, so thats down to no4.in all it doesnt look to bad you can see the scar now and obviously the top looks thinner.if anyone would like me to take pics ill unpack my camera(moving house)if theres enough interest.at least i wont have to comb/style for a few weeks.

as higa said its all about expectations and really keeping your feet on the ground.i was a bald man now i am happy to be a balding man,when i get my crown done i will happy to be a man who is receeding.i know i will never have excellent density but like you say its all about the illusion of having hair with only a percentage of the scalp space being used.farjo made this very clear to me at my consultation so ive never been under any false pretences about strong lighting effects etc.

I had my ht 16 months ago and am more than pleased with my results so far. i had a relatively small procedure and if you look under "balodys pics" in the surgeons reviews sect I think you will agree I have had a major transformation,also look at abbies pics.pat the publisher of this forum is currently in the uk observing Farjo among others,I am eagerly awaiting his opinions.the only thing i fear wthout seeming patronising is at 28 you are quite young has your hair loss stablised?do you know your norwood?

hi reedo,the best advice i can give is try to forget youve had it done (easier said than done i know).wait for 7/8 months beleive me it really does change texture and thickness that late on.as for the scar f**k it!if its a nice scar show it off!im gonna make it my mission for men who have had work done to step up and say yes ive had hair moved so what?

no problem im 37.the first time i heard the immortal words "your going bald!" was at the tender age of 17(fat bitch!)then it was a steady but quick decline, id say iwas clean on top by 23/24 had it shaven ever since.i went onto the meds when i decided to go for the transplant minox and fin.

much appreciated pb,you would have to ask farjo himself but maybe im in the same situation.i to have thin hair above my ears but is only visible when my hair is buzzed short.i think i still have quite a bit of donor left as my back seems to grow 3 times thicker and faster than everything else,but then what do i know?

thanks guys,pb just a quick question,you stated earlier that 2381 grafts was probably a mega session for farjo.can i just ask why you only had 2700 into front third when you clearly have loss on top and maybe the crown(there are no rear pics).im not being bitchy i was just wondering why you seemed to join in with the questioning of why farjo didnt do a mega session when you hadnt got one also?
