  1. baldeagle, the fears you talk about i think are totally normal. i think we spend years and years dreaming of getting our hair back it becomes the be all and end all.we then take the plunge and spend a small fortune on what seems(for now) to be the last chance saloon, basically if it doesnt work we are f*!ked and out of pocket. i seem to remember a couple of days after the hullaballoo of it all feeling a little bit down, but that soon went and when the little buggers started to show a couple of months later i knew i done the right thing. you have used a top surgeon mate i dont think you have anything to fear, so take a chill pill and wait for your new life with hair to begin
  2. thats an understatement pat nice work and congrats to the farjos, mick and all the staff!
  3. thankyou pat,i have never really known what the coalition is all about till just reading your criteria link.up to speed now. you all know from my experience with the dr,s farjo that i am 100% behind this recommendation. nm315 you have hit the nail on the head, this WOULD be great news for the uk,as it would give those who are thinking of a ht that confidence that they will be having 1st class work performed.as ive said before there must be a number of people who for one reason or another just cant get to the states(fear of flying etc) and must lose all hope when they hear again and again that there arent any good surgeons here. i hope we can begin to put this stigma to bed now. cheers paul.
  4. my sentiments exactly, until seeing what can be achieved on shawn the only person i knew in the public eye who had a ht was russ abbott.(bad plugs for the benefit of those who dont know him). nov 1st eh?2 weeks, i bet you cant wait!im not in till the 22nd so youll have 3 weeks jump start on me,well have to see who the faster grower is.
  5. fallenstar, thanks for your comments as i said on the other thread good luck! hi frog,i dont think shaun helps himself with the hairstyle he chooses.when i first saw him on tv a couple of years back he had obviously just had a good haircut as he was talking about the ht, and he looked good.as ive said before i was that impressed that is why i chose farjo. i also saw him on a programme talking about baldness and ht,s and he was speaking to a pro hairstylist and he told him to wear it shorter, i dont think he listened.still each to his own he,s happy with it and thats what counts.my wife is a hairstylist and she said she would love to get hold of him.
  6. bushwhack,i am in the corner of "fuck it be up front about it"but then i was a norwood 5/6 and couldnt really have kept it secret if i had wanted to.but lets face it most of them new hairs have gone within 2 weeks and then the process is so graduall no one seems to notice anyway.to be quite honest i think i would have been more upset if no one had mentioned it, be it ridicule or compliment.lets face it you spend thousands on something to change your looks you want someone to acknowledge it.
  7. dibbs on micheal douglas,ok hairs not as thick as connicks but less time to wait for it!
  8. sheeiiit!this guy looks 20 years younger! i agree with Bill i think your crown looks fine but each to his own.good luck!

  11. here, here nn. ive been on fin for over 2 years, and at first i was convinced iwas getting sides(libido loss, erection softness, brain fog)but with this came loads of hair to my long time baron crown!what to do?i stayed on the meds of course.then i had the ht at the front and as it grew in i stopped worrying about the back so i stopped the fin, within i month i was hairless at the rear again i felt i looked odd so started taking it again.hair growth seemed excruciatingly slow so i got hold of some dutas that,ll do the trick!3 or 4 months on dut showed only minimal growth and after taking some good advice from mick mchugh decided to get back on fin, all the time shit libido etc.anyway heres the thing, about the same time i started taking fin i also started anti depressants, well i stopped them 4 months ago and with them went all the sides associated with fin long and short of it is i dont like taking drugs especially not for the rest of my life.fin does work i can vouch for that but i also believe it fucks with your hormones(reduced body hair, watery semen, man tits etc)but it will keep/grow some hair.so it is up to the individual to take the risks for the sake of vanity. i myself will stay on fin till i have my 2nd proceedure in november, hopefully then i can come off of fin stay off the anti deps and spend the rest of my life med free! notgoing2go and giants i say take the stuff for 6 months see how you feel in yourselves and then weigh up the results, good luck.
