  1. thanks Bill, my scar is not at all sensitive and not as raised as first time around, just want to use the mederma to reduce the redness, hair can't grow quick enough or redness dissapear soon enough...
  2. very detailed Middleson, just one question, why did you wait till day 14 to remove the sutures? day 10-12 is more usual! IH

  4. i used it on both, used one with no alcohol in it just in case, it really cools the area and helps with the redness. IH
  5. well done, your going to be asked for the details so i may as well ask who was your Doctor? how many grafts? what norwood were you? what if any medication are you on? Im sure there will be lots more questions from other posters but these are the standard ones. grow well -) IH
  6. Don't know if the healing is any better on No2 but the whole process was easier as i knew what to expect and have a lot more reserch done between HTs. Aloe vera hav made a big differance this time around. IH
  7. Bill, i ordered some mederma and am going to try it, my scar in in good condition at 2 1/2 weeks so when do you suggest starting it? IH

  9. ASDS, congrats, I'm at day 16 and starting to see some of the little newbies jumping ship, it does suck , But at least if they go early the new growing can begin. You will feel great once the sutures come out. one question for you, is it not uncomfortaple for your brother to be walking with the boner??

  13. added a few new pictures today. its day 11 and i got the staples out, i had stitches the first time around and found the staples much more uncomfortable.... but their gone now so no worries. the added pics dont show anything drastic just put them in to keep everything documented. using aloe vera on the transplant site and it really helps with the itch and the redness. IH
  14. It's used a lot over here to stop children from picking up head lice. used in a shampoo .

  18. Hairbank, thats exactly what he did, dense packed around the prior HT to improve density, He went bact a bit futher and 9 months of finax has made a huge differance to the crown. will wait for Doc to fill in the details of grafts/cm etc. IH
  19. cheers cousin-it, the work he did in on top of 2350 that Dr Epstein did and Dr Feller recons that both together will be a great result. He seemed genuinly pleased with his work. IH
  20. at 5 months i would imagine you can do what you want without harming the HT, take the usual precautions with regard to sunburn though. Tanning advice from Ireland.... the least sunny place in the world
