  1. I dont think that once you start losing your hair, you will lose ALL of it. This is genetic and it isnt always the case that this statement is true IMO. There are tons of guys who go to a NW3 fast, but then halt!!! I agree with Arfy on the meds, make sure to take them as they can keep your hair and save you tons of cash which you might not have to spend on follow-up HT's. Good luck Greetz.
  2. click MyPop on top of this page ---> go to profile ---> avatar Please dont forget this is a hair restoration forum and not an helpdesk.
  3. So are you planning for an HT since you had a consult with SMC? Or are you going to wait and see if the proscar can bring something back? Greetz.
  4. could you post a pic? That says more than a 1000-word description. Greetz.
  5. As you have the same hailoss as cureus has, how many FUE of those finer hairs would one need to create the most natural-looking hairline and temples? I really hope someone can give an estimate on this one. Thanks Greetz.
  6. Thanks for the replies, you are very right about the hairline being the most important. Behind it, the concern is more density, but it in the hairline, everything has to be good. I also asked this in the post i posted in post your own topics ( post post post... ), doesnt the guy in the pic only have single hair FU/s in the hairline? Thanks Greetz.
  7. goddamn play-doh hairmills you're a funny guy Joe Greetz.
  8. So you are saying that cureus ( guy in the pic ) didnt have single hair FU's in the front of the hairline and temples? I am almost positive he does have the single hair FU's there because he went to a very good doc. Greetz.
  9. As you might know, an original hairline has much finer hairs than the ones that are in your donor-area. How is this best solved when you want to have good hairline-work?? Can this be 'solved' by graduations of density? i mean if you would go for 80 grafts/cm2, would it be better to put 50g/cm2 in the first 2mm, than put 65 in the next two and go to 80 behind that or will that look stupid? Couldnt it be possible to get the finer hairs with FUE in the neck-area and behind and above the ears, and like that create the appearance of a natural hairline when you go for high density? I find this a critical point when you are doing hairline AND temple-work. If you have very thick hair, that might look a little weird when it goes from thin hair to thick hair at once. Check out the pic. You can easily see where the HT begins. Cant this be taken care of with those finer hairs? Or i am trying to be too optimistic? Sorry if i didnt made myself understood, it is hard to go technical in a language that isnt mine. Greetz.

  13. butchered aka mahair, i feel really sorry for you man, i really do, find yourself a good doc to give you some great repair work, but dont mess up this site with your numerous topics on how you are going to pee on his grave and laugh at his family at his funeral. There is nothing you can change about what they did to you. Same as you, i want those hackjob-docs out of business but that just aint gonna happen. We can only hope more people find sites like this one to warn them from these docs. Get a great repair job so you can live a happy life and forget about the hack who messed up your head, or you might up being a bitter old man. Greetz.
  14. Hi Nike, your health has nothing to do with it, i also consider myself ' healthy ' but that doesnt change a thing. For example, some people say that lifting wheights can accelerate hairloss because of higher testosterone levels. As far as the HT, i am also almost 22 and i am not someone who says no to anyone, although you are a seperate case, being a NW4 at 21 is not very hopefull, i am a NW2 to a 3, but i noticed hairloss very young ( 16 - 17 ), i just goes slow what i am extremely happy for. Wait and see for a year what the propecia and rogaine does for you, if it halts, you might consider an HT, but if it doesnt i would think again. I have only 1 member of my family who advanced to a NW4 to 5, that is my grandfather at the age of 80 or something like that, all the rest have full heads of hair, so i am hopefulle never to go past a NW5. Good luck Greetz.
  15. Hi guys, there are tons of meds out there now, and i have a question consering topical solutions. Off course there is no option to use all of them so i wondered which one are the best and are best combined? ( minoxidil, lipoxidil, spiro, azelaic acid ... ) Can the guys who have experience with these product post their opinions? Thanks Greetz.

  17. Hey man, glad to hear your good results. Could you tell me where you buy the spiro? Or someone else who knows? How many times do you apply it? Do you use minox twice a day? Cause i dont think i can find the time to apply something on my hair 3 times a day and then wait an hour before i can use other products on my hair, maximum twice. I hope you but it of the net cause i live in europe and i dont know if they sell it here. Thanks Greetz.
  18. you are really wasting your money, it is proven that higher dosages arent better. And a complete waste of money, especially is you take propecia and not proscar, which is the same thing but a lot cheaper. Greetz.
  19. hey man, you are absolutely right, as i recall, you had hairline work done and it is best to be able to postpone a follow-up HT as long as you can, your HT looks very good. For how long have you been taking these meds? And have you lost a lot of hair while being on these meds? Thanks Greetz.
  20. Who are you referring to? I havent had an HT done and i cant see one of the previous poster tell you about it? And what you say about accelerating in the frontal part, i think you are confusing it with the fact that propecia has a low chance of being effective for the hairline. Propecia is better for the crown but i dont think it can accelerate your hairloss. Greetz.
  21. very funny how i came up with this product. I was in a bodybuilding-forum to find new excercices for the chest and i coulndt resist to type hairloss in the search-section since i know what some of those guys take isnt healthy for the follicules. Seems like some steroids taken in combination with propecia accelerate the hairloss ( compared to use of the steroids without taking propecia ) and they use this topical and they seem to say it is very effective. So if it is effective for guys who inject tons of testosterone in their body, it MUST have some sort of effectiveness for 'normal' guys like you and me. Like you say, it isnt a stand alone-product so if it works: Bring it on. Does anyone have experience with this topical solution? Thanks Greetz.
  22. if you do want to get a strip for 600 grafts, just draw a line of 6 cm by 1mm. That is what your scar will look like if you get an HT with one of the good docs that are discussed on this forum. What are you on the NW-scale because 600grafts arent going to do that much. I need 2000 to 2500 just for my temples and hairline to get a density of 80 grafts/cm2. Greetz.
  23. if you only need 600 grafts, i would go for FUE, the price will be not that much cause you need a small amount of grafts. If you get a strip for 600 grafts, you will have a scar for the rest of your life and isnt worth it. My plan is to get a strip first ( i need 2000 grafts or more to densepack my hairline and temple fill-in ) and after that im going to keep ahaead of my balding with FUE because i will need smaller HT's to cover up bald spots that might occur behing the hairs from the first HT. I suppose i will always go back when i need 500 grafts or so and it is not very smart IMO to go for a strip when you need so little grafts. 1 or 2 strips can be done but if you get more strips, you have a chance of scar-widening which you surely want to avoid. I become 22 in december and i dont find myself too young to get an HT. Modern techniques are so advanced that it is possibl for young guys like us. What does scares me a bit is the fact that you are on propecia for 3 months and you see that your hairloss accelerates. In my case i cant see a difference in hairloss in a period of only 3 months. I guess my recession started soon but goes slow. I am on propecia now for 2 months and i cant see a difference, im sure that in one year i will have about the same amount of hair as i do now, and as i did a year ago, although that is what i hope Greetz.
  24. Hi, i wondered if there is someone who ever used this topical solution. I read in articles that this combined with rogaine should be more effective. Does anyone know of this product? Thanks Greetz.
