Hi guys, i was just wondering about swelling with HTs to other parts than the head. For example if someone had a HT to grow a beard, or grow sideburns, or i even saw a pic of some guy who had 2000 grafts transplanted to his chest ( what a waste of FU's ). For instance the guy with the beard, will he look like popeye or the guy with the chest hair like schwarzenegger with skinny arms? I really started wondering about this. Greetz.

Hi, i actually think that if you are one year post-op, almost all the grafts you had transplanted will be growing, so i doubt that you will get those results by doing nothing in my opinion. What you might do is use Toppik, it is a consealer which give your hair a fuller and thicker appearance. This will help you for a part. But if i see you photoshopped picture, it looks like you made your hairline straighter, and i guess you will only get those results by having another HT. Although i think you look great, you have a good head of hair and i would go for the Toppik. Whatever you decide, good luck! Greetz.

Hi, my assumption was that avodart comes 0.5 gelatin capsules which are the dose you should take daily. I dont think it is possible to cut up something like that. I also read somewhere that some guys take more than 0.5mg per day but never less. I would start by taking one capsule a day. Please wait till other people who use avodart post a response because i dont have experience with it. Good luck Greetz.

Hi J., it is great to hear avodart is doing great things for you, myself am 21 and a NW2 going to a 3 and it is always a boost hearing from guys in the same position that they kept the hair that they had. Why did you switch to Avondart? U told that u are on propecia for years and that you kept yor hair. Did you have any bad experiences with propecia? I am on proscar now for about a month, but seeing great product showing up is a great thing for the future. Thanks for the information Greetz.

Well, i am a NW2 going to a 3, there are pics of my hairloss on the forum, but the big difference between you and me is that i am 21. You have some sort of idea of your hairloss where i dont know where i will end up. If i catch a break, my hairloss may stop at a NW3, if i am not that lucky, who knows... I also have no loss in the crown area, but i dont want to take the risk and am on proscar for 2 weeks now. I see you are from Germany, my neighbour , if you are going through with an HT, go to Canada or the US, there are the best of HT surgeons, it is somthing you will have to live with for the rest of your life, so itd better be good, some of the masters are even cheaper than the butchers here in Europe. Hi, i just came across this picture and i am so happy it is a while since i have last eaten. When was this state of the art? My litlle niece her barbiedolls have better hair than this. Normally i would think this was state of the art in the middle-ages but i doubt they had cameras that time . Oh my, am i glad i wasnt born years ago with this kind of HT's. I just dont understand that guys rather have this than going bald!!! Guys who need to lose weight can thank me later for spoiling their appitite, for the others: i am very sorry. Greetz.

And in case of the meds, i think it is best to keep on them, proscar ( propecia ) is probably the best drug today on the market. I wouldnt take the risk of losing your hair on a later point when it could have been stopped with these meds. I learnt hair loss in unpredictable by reading this forum, so it might look like it has stopped but you can never be 100% sure what the future will bring. Taking a small pill once a day isnt that hard. Better be safe than sorry. Good luck and please let us know what you are planning in the future. Greetz.

Also do a search on cureus, he was also about a 3, he has some serious dense packing, really amazing. He has some 3 month pos-op pics that look really promising. I think he had 80 to 85 grafts per cm2 done in one session, that is really close to natural density. Greetz.

how can it be tested that your chesthair or log-hair has the same characteristics than the hair on your head? Sounds really promising, especially for cover in the crown area. Greetz.

Hi guys, i sure am gonna wait a while, i am just 2 weeks on proscar and i am going to make an evaluation after a year and see if it did me any good. It really hope my hair can stay the way it is now. Although i dont think the same as many of you guys, when my hair stops from falling out i will probably have an HT, and if it continues i might have to wait cause i dont know where i will end up. It was really a suprise seeing pics of me 5 years ago, i never noticed hairloss, i just thought that was my natural hairline, fummy as it might sound. maybe in 5 years of time i lost an area of 5cm2 of hair, maybe little more but not that much. I am 3 months away from being 21, i started proscar 2 weeks ago, so it is too early to judge if it has any results. Is it somehow possible to guess where i might end up? I never noticed my hair loss till a year ago, but now when i start seeing pics of me being 16 or 17 is see that was a small recession of the temples. so now, 5 years later, it hasnt changed that much actually, my father has no hairloss whatsoever, neither did his father, only my grandfather at mother's side was maybe a NW4 at the age of 75. PLEASE DO NOT LOOK AT THE LINE I MADE ON MY HEAD!!!! i was just drawing a line where my hairline was before but i am completely wrong, as you can see, i am not that much of a master with crayons , if you need other info as well, just ask. I hope maybe you guys can give me and idea. Thanks!!! Greetz.
