  3. Congrats, lookin good repo-man! All should be filling in nicely in the coming months. I noticed on your web log that you had some dark spots on your arm which your dermatologist attributed to propecia. I have read of others experiencing this as well. Did your doc have any idea (or does anyone reading this) what precisely causes this?
  4. HA-HAHAHAHAHAH!!! I thought this was a joke when I first read the title...Bill helping men getting "laid" on the air?.What is this world coming too? Bill, how do you reconcile this w/your spiritual beliefs? Do you use the Christianese analogies especially w/respect to the pubic hair transplants---"Ughhh....well, sometimes for a garden to grow you have to pluck weeds from it. Some of these weeds will not bear fruit and in much the same way we must pluck from the unbaring fruit of the genetalia region and place them within our graftly-garden to see if they will come into fruition for us"... Or perhaps you told the horny listeners that---"it is difficult for a bald man to pass through the eyes of a vagina"... "God giveth grafts to make thy soul happy"... It's somewhat depressing that this getting laid radio show has such an interest in balding ...
  5. Hello, Im 29, 5'10, w/light brown hair & eyes and tan athletic build. Im in search of a GIRL (ages 18-18) who is also suffering from hair loss/balding, for good times and possibly a deep relationship. A relationship w/a fellow hair loss sufferer would make our bond so much stronger and deeper. We can share long walks on the beach at midnight so as not to burn our balding heads...or just an intimate evening in sharing rogaine massages over candle light...or just share a glass of wine wasting time together as we watch our wigs dry (side by side) on the clothes line after we wash them by hand... I can be one charming balding Mother Fucker...I can play your clit like the violin, til you moan and pour *tears* of joy...Ill write you poems and hair haiku's for no reason at all...Shower you w/small tokens of affection, a hat or wig I spotted at the mall that I thought would compliment the remnants of your remaining hair as I *always* think of you...Perhaps we will become so close we disrobe of our wigs during sex (?)...I've dreamed of such a relationship w/such unbound intimacy and affection...just you...just me...no clothes...no wigs...rubbing our skin 'n scalps together unashamed...perhaps Ill surprise you, as I *am* a spontaneous guy, and just make sweet hard love to you unannounced, our intimacy and closeness will be so great...we will be so caught up in sheer exstacy that neither of us will care when our wigs go flying off our heads as we make sweet love like naked (hairless) gorillas in the mist...clothes & wigs flying... Potential suitors please respond w/your current age, weight, both cup size and waist size, current NW level, and pic attached. P.S. Im also open to a NSA (no strings attached ) encounter if you feel so inclined...
  6. with sixteen clinics world wide cranking out mega FUE's Im surprised there's not more pics of these mega fue's...
  7. Yeah, from what I have seen posted on this forum doctors have varying opinions. I have always been under the impression that at BEST it delays one's final pattern. Im sure much of this is relative to the individual as well. Some people feel it has not benefited them at all, others are good responders, then others say they were good responders in the begining but then lost all they gained in but a short time...
  8. Bill, I don't recall *which* doc's have stated this, but they did NOT say it *suddenly* begins losing effectiveness at 10 years, rather it begins to tapers off. According to that link you put up..."According to his dermatologist, it is very rare for Propecia (finasteride) to suddenly stop working or lose effectiveness for treating hair loss." "OR LOSE EFFECTIVENESS FOR TREATING HAIR LOSS"... so according to this dermatologist the benefits of propecia can last indefinitely? I never hear clear answers about this. I have always been under the impression that most doc's on this site feel at BEST it *delays* one's eventual ultimate balding pattern. Which process *slowly* begins after (on average) ten years of taking propecia (?).
  9. Bspot, I have heard from several doctors who hold the position that propecia begins to lose it's efficacy after TEN years; and at BEST it only DELAYS the inevitible. What is Dr. Shapiro's position on this? Does he feel it works indefinitely?
  10. That is really bizarre to say the least. Didn't this bother you somewhat? As far as your remaining donor goes, this is something I would like to know (at least get a rough read) prior to my first surgery for long term planning. You weren't concerned about this? I hope you stick around as we would all like to follow your progress and your thoughts about the procedure. *WHY DON'T YOU START YOUR OWN THREAD?* this one is too long and clouded w/too many other issues...
  11. Godsluv, what about your scar w/respect to keloid scarring and it's more common occurence among African American's? Did Bernstein inform you of this and what the likelihood of you experiencing it would be?
  12. Sean, I hope you do stick around and share your progress w/us as this is our biggest gripe against Armani. Why don't you start your own thread where you put your pics? This thread has TOO much going on in it. BTW---what NW level were you pre-op? Your 31? How much donor did he say you have left?
  13. Rambler, hang in there man. I can only imagine how difficult it could be going through the waiting game. I hope it gets better sooner than later for you and you'll soon be sporting mop shots w/various styles for us!
  14. It's this kind of blatant disregard for transparency that has earned the *entire* Armani camp to be viewed w/such disdain on the forum. Of course there are *plenty* of other issues, which Im not even going to list here as they have been done so many times on other threads in the past; but I just don't understand why people put such blind-trust and hope in him and his claims when there is *zero*...ZERO attempts on their part to prove the veracity of their claims...."check the pics"...sure, the pics that are in the dark? They are nowhere near the quality that we expect and get from Coalition docs on this forum... Not to mention he now has a total of SIXTEEN clinics worldwide under his banner performing MEGA FUE sessions: http://www.alviarmanihairtransplant.com/aboutus/drarmanismessage.html While no one else is claiming to be performing Mega FUE in the world, but all of "his" surgeons can (?).
  15. Sean, cool! That will be excellent because we don't have any of Armani's patients posting over on this forum. Where did you do your research on Armani? This site or another?
  16. Man I *love* that avatar! I was just talking about this w/someone else recently. Although I have never heard of it, I have wondered if it is possible. Have you asked your doc? I will be interested to hear from others on this one...
  17. huh? It's just hair humor! Gets rather boring and quite depressing *only* talking about MPB!
  18. Finally somebody showed up here! I have been sitting in this thread for THREE hours singing Strangers in the Night (well my rendition anyway) all by me ones'ies! That's great your half an hour scheme worked and paid off well! Well, too bad ya didn't get the booze, but who cares your mop looked nice!
  19. Grommit, have you read this inspirational balding tale? http://www.hairtransplantmentor.com/hair-transplant-history.htm Two Grafts Up!!! *NOTE---he started losing hair at SEVENTEEN!!! Now look at him, he's the Ron Jeremy of the Balding Blog's (Ron HairMe )...should give you comfort & solace in this time of hair-need...
  20. It's ok Grommit you can spend more time on the balding blog w/us balding bozos, we can relate to you! Im currently confined to Hair Purgatory so there is not much else to do, so we can hang out on here a lot together...
  21. Hey Grommit, that is a young age to be blessed w/the balding gene. It's hard enough going through those years w/out hair loss, one shouldn't have to be consumed w/counting hairs on their pillow at 19. That sucks and I feel for ya. Having said that, you were very smart to get on propecia (guess that makes me a total dumb ass because I still havent! ); right now your definitely too young for a ht, but perhaps in just a few short years. There are members on this forum (Thanatopsis_Awry) who are only 22 and have had a ht. So there is hope. On another note, many young guys also experience a slight "widows-peak" of recession, but that does not necessarily mean they are going through MPB. How does yours look? I know you stated NW2-3 but do you feel it is def. not the widows-peak thing going on?
  22. Hmmm...interesting information. That # would represent ALL the hair on one's head including sides and back then, right?
  23. ..."Balding Bloggers in the NIiiIiGHT ---EXCHANGING GLANCES, -------WHAT ARE THE CHANCES doo dee doo dee dOooOOOooO dOo dee DOo dooO doo doO deE dOo dEe dOoOo dOo dee dOo dOoO doO"...
