  1. Joe, Thanks alot for the response. I completely agree with everything you stated, but I do have a question. How are we ever going to get the concrete, consistent, duplicatable results we need if the best doctors are not trying the protocol? No offense to them (and you don't have to comment on this) but Dr. Jones and Dr. Hitzig are not the best hair restoration surgeons ever. Dr. Jones did NOT do the surgery correctly, and I believe everyone knows that. From day one you said the caveat was keeping the wound moist and he neglected to do that. Alot of people then wrote off Acell based on a flawed experiment. I don't have a horse in the matter (except that we all want it to work) but I don't want to write it off or accept it until a top surgeon has excised a scar, kept the wound moist at the instruction of Acell, and documented clearly and conclusively the regrowth (or lack thereof). Do you think this is possible? Most good doctors don't want to take the chance or even believe there is a possibility of Acell working. But if most good doctors won't do it, all we are left with is bad photos and dubious results.
  2. Hey Joe, I'm sorry to beat this topic to death, but there's some new information regarding Acell. Is Hasson and Wong in any way in contact with Gary Hitzig in New York? He might have applied Acell a little differently than Dr. Jones and seems to have results. Can you give us an expert opinion and more information if you get the chance? http://www.nyhairloss.com/acell.htm

  4. Jotronic, I know for legal reasons H&W was unable to experiment with Acell. However, it has been a little under 3 months since its release, and I was wondering if you were privy to any new information. Are we to assume the tests by other doctors were unsuccessful? Thanks alot. Even though I know these speculative questions are probably tiring for you, your input is always objective and valuable.
  5. Sweet man thanks! I don't mean to be nosey, but did she tell you anything else about it? You mentioned you were planning on asking a few questions and I'm just curious if she knew anything about success rates/timelines. Thanks again giants.
  6. Hey man, did you ever get to talk to Dr. Vera Price about this research? Is it legitimate?
  7. Thanks for the insight, honesty, and prompt response Joe! I have been told that ACell has been shipped to at least one transplant doctor, so I suppose we will know soon enough. On a side note, since we're being cautiously excited, could you IMAGINE what H&W could do with even 50% more donor? Scary.
  8. The ACell extracellular matrix has just been released and I was curious to know what your honest opinion is about the product. What are the odds that ACell would ACTUALLY regenerate donor hair if applied to strip or FUE wounds? I personally see it as unlikely, and as Dr. Feller stated on another forum, it is very hard to imagine a product growing back an actual organ like a hair follicle. However, for some reason it appears to have regenerated skin and follicles on animals wich is very peculiar. Is this product really that groundbreaking and is H&W willing to experiment with the POSSIBILITY of unlimited donor? Thanks!!

  10. 40 - 50? Omar, I thought you said two years? Am I missing something?
  11. MrJobi and Balody, Thank you both for the responses. I agree that I'm too young (unfortunately) for a ht now, but I hope the meds kick in so I can hold off as long as possible and see what the future brings. Hopefully something good!!
  12. Haha, yeah, it definitely sucks, but thanks for the kind words of wisdom. Btw, your hair looks INCREDIBLE from the results I've seen!
  13. NG2B, I have indeed seen Jotronic! Isn't that guy amazing? You are correct that his story is EXTREMELY inspirational for people like me, and for pretty much anyone facing mpb. Good call! HandW do incredible things.
  14. Thanks guys. NG2GB, yeah I'm pretty sure it's not the widows peak. To be honest it's closer to 3 than 2. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the Propecia and will look into Rogaine foam. Hopefully if my hair loss can stabilize in the coming years I MIGHT be a candidate in the future.
