  1. Hi Buba I hate to give advice as there are many who are more qualified. I had enough hair to cover the operation site, don't know how it looks with yourself. I had 2886 grafts from Dr Rahal on the 27th of August. I was also a Norwood 3 http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=2175&WebID=920 Dr Rahal is a gentleman who practices his craft with great responsibilty and professionalism, his team are also professional and friendly. If you have to do this you have chosen a good Doctor. That does not mean that you will get the results you require. One tip I have for you..Stay in bed for three days after the OP and look at the ceiling.
  2. No worries Bill. I see this site as the most positive, professional and supportive of online hair loss forums and I know a few. I gave my two cents..Dont feel stifled Cheers pred
  3. They were great at the Adams Rick and Sylvie. As a smoker they did all they could to get me a smoking room. I moved three times in 6 days. Even the Chambermaids are great and Mo Is a cool Taxi driver
  4. Bill Fair one I'm only a guest in your house. Grateful for the support and coalition I find here. I've made my comments, I'll say no more Pred
  5. I just wonder where all this is going. The usual solution to lawsuits is that one party is adjudged as having right on their side and the other has to pay. The other solution is an out of court agreement. The harder the frontline gets the harder it is to reach a simple solution. Is anyone even trying to reach a simple solution. You will forgive me if I presume on your site and I am most certainly not a Armani agent but it all seems to be getting unnecessarily out of hand..
  6. http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=2494&WebID=920 On the 27th of December I will be at months 4 and will post a comprehensive set of pics both wet and dry. I feel it has been filling in well from above the hairline, still lossin the middle and limited growth in the corners as expected
  7. I've been on it since April and I cant say it seems to have any good or bad effects. For the older guys it's worth remembering that Hair growth is only a side effect of the drug intended for treating prostrate enlargement which can be a problem in middle age. I dont think I have anything to lose by taking it. And Icertainly dont want the shedding if I stop it.
  8. As you know and most guys here will tell a HT is not a walk in the park. There is pain, swelling, rednes and itchiness, which can go on for months and there is never a guarantee. Shockloss is also a possibilty in that area. Why do it if you don't actually need to? I waited until I was 40 until my hairloss partern-according to Rahal had stabilised. I have forlock shock loss to my existing hair, it may be limited but it happened.
  9. Wahnsinn Man..Amazing for 4 Months. Good Luck with the next four
  10. Aaargh! The results at 5 are Godlike! I'm the same age as you and have a similar profile. I hope it's looking like that for me on the 27th of Jan. Congrats
  11. My Blog "Predator" 2886 Rahal seems to have got lost as I updated it yesterday. perhaps I did something wrong with the activation, but all I see is the titles of my fotogallery, when I click on them nothing happens. If I have made a simple mistake perhaps it would be good to advise other users. I'd hate to have to do the blog again

  13. So lets put some facts on the table I had 2886 grafts in August with Dr Rahal in Canada Total expediture including OP Flight Hotel and the rest ?‚¬7600= 96420USD=
  14. One other thing I'd like to add I took a taxi back to the hotel following my consultation with a young fellow who had just had his OP. The fellow had a few problems after the OP. Dr Rahal turned up to help him out. (Bad news for me as I was sitting on the terrace with some guys having a beer I should not have been having the day before my OP as he drove up) Reassuring though to know that the Doc is prepared to do all is required to ensure the well being of his patients
  15. It's clear from my Thread that at the moment I'm regretting my HT, but thats down to the phases I'm going through with shockloss itching and doldrums. I might be posting pics with big smiles in a few months and eating my words. One thing that I don't regret is choosing Dr Rahal. My experience in Canada was as good as it could be for this operation, he is a very straight professional and I am secure in the knowledge that I will be simply unlucky if I don't get the result I hope for because I did go to one of the best. There are many other superb doctors out there and even more that you would want to stay away from. It's hard to recommend any doctor until you know what the final result is. I researched for over a year on sites in Germany and all over the English speaking world, until I came down to Hasson and Wong or Rahal
  16. I had mine with Rahal on the 27th of August As with you I'm still in the doldrums. I'm with you brother
  17. Thanks guys i know I'm a better situation than a lot of people, I had 2900 grafts in the front on a Norwood three. probably the reason for such fierce itching and numbness. It's hard not to scratch, and what I find strange is the worst numbness and itching is in the areas he didn't touch^. I'm hoping it will improve soon
  18. I did do my research... maybe I'll post here again and say how pleased I am with the results and I was glad that I did it in the end. If that is the case I wil be sure to post..I Know about the doldrums and ugly ducklings and I've been telling myself it's normal since month 1. What worries me is despite propecia, continued loss to the forelock area and the thinning down of grafts I lost that grew back (if you follow)I've talked to Rahal about this and they say it's normal. I have confidence in my doctor, my scar is really well healed, but the lingering doubt remains as after 3 Months the itching, redness
  19. Many do I guess I wish I'd never done it my hair was good enough to pass. The last three months have been bad to worse to even worse, Itching numbness et.c. I lose so much of my grafts and existing hair, even now; that I doubt my result will be worth the effort http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=2397&WebID=920
  20. From my humble opinion Messing around with the grafts under 14 days, rubbing scratching etc After that they are supposed to sit tight But to be on the safe side you'd need to wait for 1 Month before you treat your hair with less than perfect respect. I'm at Month 2.75 and wash and towl dry as I used to, I've stopped losing any grafts
  21. Smile You only trust the opinions of the Irish
  22. How many Hts does the average person need? I don't think I could face it again
  23. Rahal is probaly concerned about shockloss as a result of implanting between your existing hair
