  1. Dr Feller Please forgive me for my concern I would never allow any Doctor to plant 1400 grafts on only one side of my forehead. How Is that going to look? Is it not a duty of care for Doctors to ensure the most natural possible result by spreading the grafts along the natural basisline? Can you confirm this will be a natural result? I have my doubts. I hope, sincerely, my concerns are unfounded, but on the basis of this action I would not go to you.
  2. Looking very nice and it will get a lot better too congrats
  3. Give it 6 months..I know it sounds like a Saharan crossing, but you don't know where you will end up just yet - Time slows down after a HT, think we all know that. Any new procedures could effect the result you are likely to get. I spoke about corrections to my Doc (Rahal) and he advised 12 months would be the earliest for any additional work. Hold the line
  4. Follow the advice and get yourself checked out. Don't sink into worry though, I may be a lot older than you but I have had similar symptoms with the loss of body hair and I get a full medical every 6 months. In some of my profile pics you might see a thin 3 Musketeers moustache, which used to be a Burt Reynolds, the last time I tried, the body goes up and down and a lot can be stress related. So find out. Regards
  5. God like- Such a result I have never seen. I hope after so many OP this is the final one
  6. As a Rahal patient it takes me back 9 months. Super report. I think you will be very happy with the results. Just the waiting game now
  7. http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=2174&WebID=920 I'm really surprised by density. I had 45cm2 to fill, which works out at an average recipient density of 65Fu/cm2 with 2900 grafts Our hair loss seems to be similar Bearing in mind Dr Rahal planned with 3000 for but could harvest 3800, you can count yourself a lucky guy I'd be very interested to follow your progress, hope you update your blog
  8. Nice results and a lot more to come in the next months. I read that some of the best growth you get between month 8 and 10 in general- Good luck
  9. I will contine to post results until at least 12 Months, thereafter on the basis of results are changes if applicable. I hope my blog provides a representation of the entire process, the ups the downs and if I can assisst anyone please contact me
  10. To some of the comments about satisfaction. I didn't really wave any flags or light fireworks. I wanted to see where it was all going to really progress. I have seen a lot of examples of guys having good initial growth, then having problems with, progressive thinning or infection, or a stop in growth. I am a member of a few Forums and did a lot of research, so that in the end I decided to cross the atlantic. What Dr Rahal did for me is astonisching and I know that many guys would be absolutely delighted at the result, some may wonder at my reticence, as I always said I wanted to reserve judgement until 9 or 10 months
  11. Hi No I did not forget, just had some login problems. Here are my 9 Month results http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=3598&WebID=920 I am very pleased with the results and am in the end spurt. I did want to post a few shots of the scar but cant get a good one that shows anything
  12. Thanks guys I dont really want to do this again if I can help it. You only know what it is like when you go through the phases. There is a price to pay for anything good. I look at my blog from day one last August and I'm teleported back to how I felt each month. I've read that month 8-10 are impressive, as I have said. But if this is as good as it gets, than I will certainly be content
  13. Petro Hair loss is progressive. Most of the guys here have had more than one HT. This operation takes a year to get to the final stage and even if you take propecia you are going to find some loss, during that phase to your baseline hair At present i'd give it an 8. There are elements of what Rahal did that I don't like much, the firmness in the hairline on the right side-but the general picture is excellent. I will report every month until month 12. Then I might be looking at FUE to fill in some gaps in the hairline- But we'll see
  14. Eman I'm pretty cautious I dont want to praise the day before the evening The title of my thread is no longer valid, as I considered back then. It's been a "bastard ride", but the results are such that many guys would like to have. I'm wondering if I am finished at 8 Months or if more is to come. When I look in the mirror I am still amazed and somewhat disconcerted. What the real benefit of this has been is my hairloss is no longer a central issue in my life- for the time being
  15. http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=3371&WebID=920 Wanted to fix the 8 Month results. Still thin on the right side, but you cant have everything
  16. I thought your hair looked really good before too. The strip is inbelievably long, did you have poor laxity?
  17. So this is my 7 Month update http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=3249&WebID=920 Not much visually has changed but it feels like there is a lot more there
  18. I used Polytar for years and really believe it helped. Trouble is I can only get it on prescription where I live. I would recommend it
  19. I'm at 6M I see much better growth on the left side than the right. But I always had a gap on the right side and only parted on the left, we're all different
  20. Hi Thanks all Hope to post again on the 27th of March at 7 Months. I have noticed a real improvement. At the same time I have been loosing in certain areas, but I guess it balances itself out. As Goldilocks mentions, what we tend to forget is this is quite invasive surgery, I had 2900 needles go into 45cm2 of my frontal head and a bucket of saline solution over the area. That has to lead to extensive nerve damage, itching, redness and sensation and swelling. The issue of the recovery phase is not one we talk about often, cos it's different for everybody I suppose. But I guess most who have done this, know that you pay an price on the way to the results, which is forgotten when you have them. I'd like to change the title of my Thread, as I said I might and I am grateful for the kind encouragement of this community
  21. So here I am at just over 6 Months According to the general consensus there is much more to come. But I won't have lost if it stays the way it is. The hair is very soft and wirery. I still suffer from numbness and itching even after all this time. I can't and won't judge until month 10, I have had too many highs and lows. my pics are as honest as I can make them perhaps you have inputs http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=3065&WebID=920
  22. Hi All I have lost a few grafts on both sides in the hairline and the itching and numbness are still there also strange sensations. We'll see what the next two months bring. I have not used any Rogaine or any other stuff and only take propecia. i dont want to try colouring the hair as I have never had a good experience with it. might change my mind. A lot of guys must be wondering why I'm downbeat about the results, which basically look good. This has been a roller coaster ride with ups and downs side effects beyond the scope of this site and a tiredness with my own vanity- Frankly I wish I belonged to the group of guys who "Don't give a Fork" about hair loss You might comb your hair in the morning and think "Where the hell did the style from last week go?", but a HT concentrates you on your hair to such an extent that it's hard to see the wood for the trees. I don't want to do this again
  23. Hi Santa Looks great with I had a thicker moustache I painted it with Just for Men to get at the grey and ended up getting the wrong colour and had to shave it off. Lost quite a bit through an allergice reaction too. Envious
