That in it's self shows conviction in your chosen surgeon . Hey guys I've had a bit of a flourish with the old crown of late and wished to share it . Kinda jumping on the band wagon with outside sunny , bed head and wet shots ( man that sounds like porn hahahahaha ), as spex has shown me the way , we all know how harsh the sun is regards thinning thatches so I hope you appriciate my honesty at only 5 months . Still early days yet but I'm very happy with my progress and have had a good cosmetic improvement already , with people even commenting hahahahaha ace ! before any surgery sept 2007 and now april 2nd 2008 Immediatly post and pre surgery wet sept 2007 and now april 2008 scar 28 days after surgery and now 2nd april 2008 and the money shot , outside in the sun , straight out of bed and washed with no product on ,again outside and in the sun Please comment , I've tried to be as honest as i can with clear close up ,old and new comparertive shots , outside day light shots ,wet and dry , I feel at only 5 months I'm making good progress . richie 2100 crown grafts Dr Feller nov 2007

hey guys Looking back ,when i started on propecia i shed quiet alot of hair , my scalp looked very thin in photos at this time so I buzzed my hair completely off , ungaurded clip and over the next 6 months i let it grow back and it had definatly grown healthier and looked thicker ,all over my scalp , front temples , mid section and a little at the crown . If i look back at photos now there is an excelent improvement in the front and over the top of my scalp , my crown showed little improvement as this was were my hairloss was at it's worse , so i had 2100 grafts with Dr Feller in nov 2007 below are pics from june 2006 when i started on propecia (I'm now on proscar , financial reasons )and in nov 2007 just before my surgery ,you can see the improvment in the overall condition of my hair ,please note though were my hair was at its thinnest , around the crowns i had very little improvment hope that helps richie 2100 crown grafts Dr Feller nov 2007

hey ash when i came over to New York to have hair surgery with Dr Feller in november 2007 the exchange rate was only slightly better than now ,the UK?? was 0.475 to the US$ . That ment you could get US $2.1 to UK ??1 . Dr Feller did 2100 grafts and charged me $7850 ,that worked out to be ??3728 . My flights with british airways and my accomadation for four nights was approximatly a further ??800 That is $3.70 or ??1.77 per graft . As a direct comparison against UK prices ,in february 2007 i was quoted ??1750 for 500 grafts at a hair medical centre in the UK ,this was later reduced to ??1500 . at the time there was some confusion over whether this was for strip or fue , however since then I have been informed by the clinic that they do not offer fue . but even at ??1500 that would have cost me ??3 per graft ,that is $6.30 per graft . for me , as a uk patient it was lot cheaper to go to the states and see Dr Feller than to stay in the UK . so it total it cost me just over ??4500 for 2100 grafts in New York , i had a strip method although Dr Feller does do fue it is more expensive and you have to fit the criteria , as in hair density , laxity of the scalp and hair chariteristics , spex can explain it better bud richie 2100 crown grafts Dr Feller nov 2007

Hey guys and tbone Good write up and i'm glad you finally made the desision to go to the states after so much worry and heart ache , these things can not be taken lightly and i remember getting stressed and ringing spex for advice before i went to see Dr Feller . Looking back now i don't know what all the worry was for it was easy and i even had a top holiday in New York which was fucking amazing !! hahahah perhaps i'm like a country bumpkin easily overwhelmed by the big city hahahaha . David Going bald really sucks bud , every guy on this site ,whether they want to admit it or not has felt low , pissed off or depressed over they hairloss , it's not shallow it's how it effects us all as individuals . The biggest problem that effects us personally is the complete loss of control over losing our hair , our crowning glory , it makes us feel young , attractive and each morning we see it getting thinner and thinner , we become obsessed and it starts to take over your life , mirrors ,lighting , wind , rain all the fucking time thinking how will this effect me , my hair style , the product i use , will somebody comment today ................. fuck me the list is endless and every guy on this site has , sometime or other felt like you have . You have to start to take control again , you tried to regain your hair the only way you knew , you felt great when you saw that hair , not just because you had some stubble but because you did something about it , that makes us feel in control like we could take on the world , your proceedure hasn't worked and you quite rightly feel aggrieved . I can only pic up so much from your pms to chucky so i hope i understand things right for you , you say you have no more donor hair left and are heaverly in debt ,these things cannot be changed , you can't do anymore than you have done , you have to start to take control of this predicament that is not your fault . Please take a deep breath and think of that good looking girl who loves you , think how devastated she would feel if anyhting happend to you , think of your mum and dad , your family , if your feel paniced and have the tight feelings in your chest , sit down and take a deep breath , take a minute to calm yourself and slow your brain down , take control . After all the obsessing we do over hair or appearence just try to remember that other people don't see us as we see ourselves , most people don't even notice our baldness , that's one good thing about our human race , we're all so self obssesing that many of us don't even notice anyone elses issues , thats just human nature . You mentioned sleep deprivation in your pm , that really fucks with our minds and will cloud your thoughts , you will feel like you've lost control and have a million things wizzing through your mind , unable to make sence of any one thought ,if it helps you get through one day at a time make a list of thing you would like to get done that day , take as many time outs and deep breaths as you need my friend and think of that lovely girl waiting for you back home , smiling , you see the good thing about girls is all they ever want is a smile and a cuddle ....... David I hope you can take something away from what i've said , try to take back control of your life , see how comfortable you feel trying to accept your situation and that you won't let this curse rule your life anymore . Hey John HDC are having some UK consultations between 1st-4th of April in London and 6th-7th April in Manchester , maybe worth trying to get to one of those . Hey vik This is me 10 days post op , scabs , some brown , some white , just keep washing your scalp , recipient and donor gently with a small amount of shampoo , your doc should have given you some instruction . Hey balody Looking good for 4 months , swirl coming in nicely , I had loads of spots too , my girl loved squeezing them hahahaa SPLAT ! , I know your not really supposed to but i couldn't help it and my head was still numbish so it didn't even hurt hahahaha . I had some weird like blackheads too , washed my hair and scalp all the time but had one or two blackheads . You know you guys keep talking about the crown being slow well I'm almost 5 months and had a bit of an explosion ! The few transplanted hairs which have been growing for the last 2 months are getting darker and thicker and I've got loads of new stubble coming threw also , both these two things combined are just beginning to give a light covering of hair ,enough that people have notice , at last hahahahaa at first you don't want anyone to notice but as soon as you see an improvment you want somebody to say "you look well " or "whats different " hahahaha I do anyway , I can't wait to show my 5 month update pics , deffo an explosion of new growth ! maybe I'm just lucky . anyhow balody expect good things over the next few months , looking good guys . richie 2100 crown grafts Dr Feller nov 2007
