  1. Hi guys, must say your scar is undetectable! When's the birmingham meet!? Gonna try my best to be there!
  2. I'll definitely be at the Birmingham meet!! Gutted I missed the Manc one, sounds like it was very informative!!
  3. My girlfriend took my staples out for me!! However Dr Feller did provided me with a specific tool used for the removal of staples! If you can get hold of this tool anyone can do it!! Maybe try your local pharmacist. As long as the tool is sterilised I imagine it would be fine!
  4. Hey awry, just out of interest what colour do you use??
  5. That's great news!! I'd definitely recommend you use hairspray to prevent the toppik from being visible!! Just use enough to prevent the wind from moving your hair!! The lock in mist, you can buy directly from the Toppik website, is good stuff but far too expensive!! Regualr hairspray does the same job!!
  6. I have the week off work that week so I may be able to make it!! The only problem being that I live in London so it will be a bit of a mission?? What are the plans??
  7. In my experience, you're in big trouble if you use nanogen on the hairline and a girl wishes to rub her fingers through your hair!! However if it's just on the crown you can get away with it by the lego effect (see below)! I've used nanogen religiously for the past couple of years and although application and paranoia can be a pain in the a**e it has prevented others from knowledge of my hair loss! The only way you can get around a girl from finding out is by the lego hair effect!!! This is putting so much hairspay on the covered parts that a tsunami wouldn't budge it!! That in my experience is the only way round! I've had the stuff in my hair for 3 days with nobody knowing by using the lego effect!!
  8. Also it's normal for a lot of the stuff to fall out during application, my sink is a complete mess when i'm done!!
  9. Pre nanogen and the extent of my loss in the front third!!
  10. Hi ramozk1, I've never used toppik but have used nanogen for the last two years, although they're different brands I imagine they do the same thing! Concealers like toppik are great if you have a substantial amount of hair to use it on! If it is used on a relatively "bald patch" it will just look like paint on your head!! When you say it doesn't work do you mean that it's is not effective in concealing your thinning top, or that it doesn't bond to your existing hair?? I have not left my house in the last two years without being covered in nanogen (or in a hat), luckily nobody has ever noticed it! I put it on my thin areas (and on the hairline), blend it in by patting it then cover my head in hairspray to make it completely wind proof!! Could you post any pics with no concealer on to see how extensive your loss is?? I have put some pre, post nanogen pics below! First one is post nanogen application!
  11. Cheers Pete, I remember u guys well!! How's the progress? Last time I saw u it was trip number 2 to Dr Feller!!
  12. Cheers guys, very warm welcome indeed! Yeah i'll post some more pics at the 5 month period and so on until the longest year of my life ends!!
  13. Looking good mate!! It seems that should really start kicking in, in the coming months!! The pics show a pretty substantial difference from pre-op to now!!
  14. Thanks stevo! I see you're a recent Feller patient!! Happy growing to you too, i'll also be looking forward to seeing your pics soon!! It'll be good to see all you guys at a UK showcase later on this year when we'll all be around 75% grown!!
