  1. Predator, you getting more dandruff? I never got the stuff and its like they could open up a ski lift now.
  2. most millionaires I've meet who have made their money through businesses are pretty cheap as heck.
  3. I think the bad looking plugs and such are why its still laughed at. Its easier to hide a small amphetamine habit than a bad ht.
  4. I haven't been able to hit the gym fully yet and I am about 1.5 months out. If I try to max out, I feel pressure on the strip scar line. Its getting less every day though.
  5. If its 3 inches diameter, it seems like more graphs than needed are quoted.
  6. The difference is that fat people tend to have more medical problems if they continue to remain fat. I never heard of a HT reducing the likelihood of getting diabetes.
  7. You know. Even during the doldrums, its not horrid looking. Keep posting, I am about 15 days behind ya.
  8. congrats dude !!!! hope the HT was well plz post your pics so that i may also feel better .. I just posted 1.5 months out. http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...e-page.asp?WebID=948 I tried to add my blog under my name, but I bet I did it incorrectly. Bill, If you read this please do it for me or pm me if I need to do it.
  9. Some people it really helps. I wanted it cause my sister got it and really cleared up. My acne wasn't bad, but really cleared up, except I got the Nixon look!
  10. You are playing the "blame the victim" game. I find it hard to believe that from your world view, bald guys have absolutely no disadvantage in securing dates and wives. No bald guys I know , nor do I, have a confidence problem - I don't know how you can say that when you don't even know me. While you are at it why not blame it on me not taking showers or brushing my teeth hahahaha! That is why I guessed it and not assumed it. Since you are on this site about hair loss and calling it being a victim, I just would guess it affects you in some way. On a different note, brushing your teeth and taking showers would help!
  11. Did the derm refer you to an endocrinologist if your family has thyroid problems? the docs would know better than me.
  12. Meds could probably slow the back or maybe reverse it a bit. Good Luck!
  13. I think you'll be ok. I have similar loss pattern in my family. I am only one month out. Predator, reevaluate around the seven month mark.
  14. I lost my hair in the front starting about 18 and it stopped creeping back around 24. I got on propecia at the beginning of this year and had a HT 1 month ago. I'd like to view myself in 10 years and see if it was a good choice.
  15. I had one with her a little over a month ago. Too early to determine results, but she is very knowledgeable. I am not able to get a digital camera for the 1st month picture, but my shockless is much less when compared to S5H at 1 month.
  16. I guess I never had problems with dating and am an engineer, so my work is more important than my looks. I understand your reasoning, but I know lots of bald guys who managed to get married without hair. I guess its just the lack of confidence attributed to hair loss. Its a tiny bit of vanity, but not nearly as much as myself when I got a HT.
  17. Its simple. We are worried about our appearance, in this case our hair loss. Worrying about things that are just visual and not meaningful is shallow. but you can drown in 2 inches of water.... I would say someone with a really botched job, cancer treatment or weird shaped loss need it. Us with normal MBP just want to look good and pay for it.
  18. I asked some friends in the UA optics department today about Mugs vs FU's. I think if the same amount to graphs are to used, that FU's are always going to look better because they are more diffused. Do mugs have a lower shock loss rate?
  19. I remember Dr Keene told me about the data when we decided on density. I settled for 45 FU/cm in some areas down to about 35 FU/cm on my temples.
  20. I can't say much w/o pictures. I am 26 and just had a ht done. Researched about a year before I went for it. I have a similar thing, but with total loss in the forward temple areas and no loss in the crown. Only thing I would worry about is the doc transecting your current hair follicules in the front. They may be able to tell how yours grow from the removal process.
  21. I must be a 10.1 then! upgrading to 11 We are shallow too in this mess, esp since we are on this site.
  22. Is itching sensation along the scar line normal about 1 month out?
  23. If you were getting it done in a Hair Saloon, it just seems shady. I think I'll open a liposuction clinic in my garage with my shop vac.
