  1. I shaved my head to a number one a while back and all my friends just laughed when they saw it. Not only did it look bad, but my hairloss became much more apparent. I then bicked it and to my surprise it actually looked much better. Friends were actually commenting how they could see me as a skin head lol. But in the end I just ended growing it out again because my hairloss wasn't thaaat bad at that point so I would just throw some dermmatch on and get a pretty decent result. As time goes on though I will be shaving my head down to the skull again in the near future because the loss is progressing pretty badly. My goal was to be able to grow a beard first, but unfortunately I'm losing the race .
  2. My advice go to a bar and wear a hat. Works for me. By the time I'm at her place or they're at mine I still have my hat on until we get to the bedroom. Once there it is either dark and I can take it off, or we are so far along she could care less at that point. Also, I find it funny that you are basically requesting ideas for get rich quick schemes. They don't exist btw. Good Luck. PS I'm 19 and my hairline is non-existent. Been losing for 2 years now.
  3. Hi. I am 19 years old and have been losing my hair for about 2 years now. I am only losing in the frontal third where its getting thinner and thinner. Everywhere else on my head my hair doesn't appear to be getting any thinner at all.. I don't recall anyone in my family becoming a norwood 6. My dad has probably lost 70% of hair all over his head at 51 and on my moms side her dad died with a full head of hair. So my question is just because I started at such a young age does this mean I am destined for a norwood 6 or 7? Or is there a chance I will only loose the hair at the front and I wont loose the rest for the rest of my life.
  4. Well, I always find it comforting when I know there are people dealing with situations worse than mine so just remember you are losing your hair in the crown which isn't noticable front on. So for people like myself (I'm 19 and have much more significant loss than your pic) who are losing in the frontal 1/3 we are the ones who have to avoid all cameras. But, anyway just remember there are many more people in the same situation as you or even worse. Just wear a hat 24/7 like the rest of us
  5. I sweat excessively, especially in the armpits when im not even doing a physical activity, so I could see this article having some truth to it..
  6. The more important question is why only the hair on the top portion of our heads fall out when the rest at the sides are immune to DHT.
  7. In my family my mom's dad and grandpa both had full heads of hair until they were quite old. On my dad's side he has been losing since about 30 and he is now 50 and has lost about 75% of his hair. He told me his dad was a little balder than him at the same age. I have been losing my hair since 17 and I was wondering whether, since it doesn't run in my family, will I possibly never become completely bald even though I have started so young?

  9. IMO he looked much better without the "system", but that could be because the "curtain" hair style is hideus IMO.
  10. First off I dont know why you would grow your hair back when the bald look actually suits you very well.. Secondly.. your wife is a babe.
  11. I'm definitely aware that the transplanted hair sheds after a couple weeks. I was just wondering after a few years after what happens to the hair that falls out? Does the follicle just grow a new hair or is that transplanted hair gone forever?
  12. I was just curious to what the lifespan of a transplanted hair can be expected to be. Apparently 50-100 hairs fall out everyday and are replaced. But if the transplanted hair falls out will it grow back?

  14. Instead of wearing a hat I actually just spread on a bunch of dermmatch. I wear a hat almost everyday and I thought that New Years would be a good day for the most people to see me without a hat. I did have to style my hair into a faux hawk but it worked out in the end
