  1. I think that propecia by itself form a natural log to about 70% reduction in DHT, but at 1 mg vs 3 mg, its already pretty close depending on half lives. Ask a doc about it!
  2. I sometimes take melatonin when I travel for work, but haven't heard of it for hair loss.
  3. Scar line is the biggest thing I am worried about my procedure. If you can afford it, probably you would be a good fue candidate.
  4. She did my HT 2 weeks ago. Thought she did a good job, but time will tell!
  5. I see myself posting less and less in the forum as time goes on. I'll probably end up leaving and post final results after a year. People staying on help the new ones gain info.
  6. Can you take a picture? If you have staples they should be removed. Often dissolvable stitches are used (you shouldn't see them) Under the skin to relieve tension on the scalp and reduce the size of a scar.
  7. Did your brothers loose it in the back also? I had front hairloss but none in the back (like rest of family). I took propecia for about 9 months and didn't notice any growth in the front area. I just had a ht (26), so I would wait. Some docs would see ya, but you might end up with spaces from further loss.
  8. If they are dark, then Laser Hair Removal may work to reduce them. That or electrolysis.
  9. Hypothyroidism runs in the Croatian side of my family. Wonder if its common for Croatians have problems with it?
  10. I'm young and don't have much yet in the market, but when asked why I got a HT. I said its better return than my stocks this year. Down 37%!
  11. I think that there is no doctor in India that is a member of the coalition, but that would be a question for Bill.
  12. I read the other tread. Just to compare the complaints to my coalition doc. In my surgery, Dr Keene required full payment 14 days in advanced. I paid 13 days in advance because I was on travel and they didn't mind about the day. I see this being ok, because they need to get paid and in private practice. Dr Cole may not do research, but lots of docs do not. I'm an engineer but I took the MCAT and scored a 33 without studying (I did take premed courses) I was suprised on how many premed people and now docs (1st ex is not 4th year med student) just learn medicine but never do research. That is why I find it pretty cool when someone does research like Dr Keene. Dr Cole may not do research, but most docs don't either. Aside from these complaints that I see as mute, I cannot comment about Dr Cole's technical work.
  13. Your head isn't shaped odd. Try it out and like mission said being toned always helps.
  14. That is awesome. My girl didn't want me to get a HT, but she said it looks good now that I got it. Its become an excuse for her to baby me and keep me home.
  15. I think Bill put it correctly. Some guys look good, some do not with a bald head. I have a good shaped head for being bald, I just feel that I look too mean if I bic it. If I keep it short I had enough hair to look good. I like having longer hair, and that looked bad because my temple areas were exposed more and my center strip of hair went straight down.
  16. Even though I had the money, I waited over a year to get a HT. I would hope your hairline would stabilize before you get it done. Just remember that confidence and presence go a whole lot further with women than your hairline.
  17. I work as an engineer and most of the ones with balding hairlines shave it down. I did this myself also. My problem with me shaving my head is that people consider my intimidating and mean looking. Last year when I shaved my head off for a while, I had several people want to have a bar fight with me or think I am a racist. I think skinheads ruined the bald look for young white guys.
  18. I have a scar on my forehead I named the Big Chief when I was little and had chicken pox. Do you know what type of procedure they do to flatten the pock mark?
  19. I think everyone has something they don't like about themselves that everyone else thinks is trivial. Just looking at that plastic sergeant site, I don't think you should get implants. I am guilty of getting a HT though.
  20. Sorry to revive this thread, but I am wondering the same thing about returning to the gym. I had my surgery OCT 9th and think I am lucky enough to never have to go back for another. What type of exercises and how long after surgery did you guys generally wait? I play volleyball and softball and my teammates are mad that I am not playing with them now.
  21. I hope that they are able to commercially distribute PD cells that don't lose their differentiation soon. I got a HT and probably won't need another one, but going off of propecia would be nice.
