Does shockloss happen to anybody who gets a HT? is it just a common thing or is it 100% bound to happen? its been a month since mine and its hard to tell but it could be thinning underneath the recipient area

Thanks for the reply, hopefully i got my moneys worth, i had another concern at first about the doctor who was barely there, he was doing a strip while two surgical techs extracted the units and one of them transplanted them, all he did was make the 350 holes in the bald area, at first i was thinking didnt i pay him to do this, but everyone was professional and it just seemed like it was routine stuff for them, i heard them talk about other patients and it was busy there so im not going to sweat it until it doesnt start growing-3-5 months from now

had it done on december 1st, and really didnt have any worries until reading through the forum, one concern is i didnt know the grafts could get damaged and be transplanted damaged, how often does that happen? another one is they told me it usually takes about 3 months till it starts to grow, on here im seeing 10 months, what does it take for a small 350 grafts usually? and also i been using rogaine foam i was told once in the morning every day for three months, but rogaine directions say twice so sometimes i do use it twice a day i figure it wont hurt me, is that how evveryone else is using it?

wow i hardly see a scar in those pictures, if i was guaranteed it would look like that i would get it done, do you have dr feller's email so i can get some answers even though i cant afford to travel to see a doctor for something so little, i see my doctor in november im going to see if he can recommend me somebody

yea im sorry i was born with the bald spot, and its shaped as a circle, the doctor i emailed said he had a transplant and cant go lower than a #4 on a pair of clippers, but i didnt ask him if he meant the scar would be noticeable if he went lower or if it was just to dangerous to go over the scar, because depending on what the scar looks like i wouldnt even care as long as theres hair around it, thats why i would like to see pictures

I have about an inch and a half bald spot on the side of my head i want to get fixed, i was already told after a transplant there was a limit to how short i could wear my hair, but the reason i would want a transplant is so i can have a buzz cut without the bald spot showing question is what will the scar look like? is there pictures of scars after a surgery i can look at? did he mean i could only go so short until the scar is noticeable or did he mean is it dangerous to shave over the scar? and even with a bald spot as small as an inch and a half how major could the scar end up?
