Since a few years, this patient of 30 years old is in a quite stable situation. We can see the space he would like to cover on his anterior area with a high forehead syndrome. The hair are thin, he has half-length hair and would like a FUT. Here are the details of the intervention : 2751 grafts for 5623 hair. 1hair:**577**2hair:**1532**3hair:**586**4hair:**56 It is interesting to notice the changing of the texture that is well visible after 7 months post-op. The hair are a bit more thick and the texture is also frizzy. Fortunately, for the next months the hair will get back their normal structure. The phenomena is very common by the women, less by the men but is often disappointing for the patient. Then, the patient has to wait, sometimes for a while … and the return to the normal is almost always there. The density obtained on the anterior area could be increased, it will be realized in a few months when we'll perform a FUE.

This patient of 38 years old has a very good indication. The recipient area is quite limited, the donor area is excellent and he has curly hair. He received 3117 grafts for 5808 hair. Details : 996 FUT1, 1599 FUT2, 474 FUT3 and 48 FUT4. The re growth is perfect and the final result is very natural. The use of one-hair graft on the hairline participates to this result.

This patient of 24 years old would like to find a solution to his baldness on the anterior area. A big surgery has been realized: Number of grafts:*4575 Number of hair:*9224 1h:*912**2h:*2784**3h:*772**4h:*107 I'm very satisfied with the density obtained on the covered area. Even if the hairloss continues to evolve on the posterior area, the anterior area will stay stable definitively. The patient will probably need another surgery when the part more posterior will disappear.

This patient is 51 years old and he is an excellent candidate for a FUT : long hair, excellent donor area and very good elasticity. A hair transplant has been performed for a result of : 3969 grafts for 8573 hair. Details : 726 FUT1, 2062 FUT2 1121 FUT3, 120 FUT4. In June 2010, the patient came back for a second intervention on the crown area. A new FUT, with the following result : 2942 grafts for 6385 hair. The total amount was of 6918 grafts for 14958 hair. One of my technicians complained since a long time about her big forehead with a distance of her temporal limits. Sharon is 26 years old and her problem began 8 years ago. The 16.01.2015 a patient canceled his surgery and we performed the FUT. 3012 grafts for 5506 hair with a repartition of 829 FUT1, 1874 FUT2, 307 FUT3 and only 2 FUT4. The high number of single is indicated in that kind of situation because we absolutely have to obtain a very fluid aspect on the first lines of the graft. This patient of 51 years old did not seem to be the best candidate. Nevertheless, his expectations were very reasonable. He mainly wanted to cover the anterior area and to recover a younger aspect. A FUE was foreseen during 2 days. Here are the results: 3212 grafts for 6102 hair + 215 body hairs As you can notice on the post-operative pictures 1 and 2, the aftermath of the operation were very discreet. The number of grafts reached was anyway very important: 3212 grafts and 6102 hair. The number of average hair by graft wasn’t very important, but his salt and pepper hair was an advantage. The final aspect was extremely encouraging for a unique surgery. By the way, the patient reports to be satisfied. We will probably plan a second surgery. Here is his comment: “You did a transplant for me last July and I attach the latest photos of the* results. This seems to correspond pretty accurately with the projection that you made* for me originally, so I am pleased.* I had FUE and only dealt with the anterior area and I am now contemplating* repeating the process.* What do you think could be achieved with a second session?” So we are thinking about a second intervention with Body Hair, as he as a lot.

Her situation is characteristic of the "high forehead syndrome". It is a baldness quite similar to a natural baldness. The donor area is good, as often in that kind of situation. It allows to perform a FUT in 2009 which will be completed by a second one in 2012. The total number of grafts is 2546 + 1131 = 3677. For a number of hair of 4981 + 1996 = 6977. The hair is very thin but it does not avoid a very dense and natural result.

This patient is 42 years old. I performed a surgery on July 2014 with the FUT technique. He received 3708 grafts for 7593 hair. Here are the details: 724 FUT1, 2200 FUT2, 667 FUT3 and 117 FUT4. It is a very nice example of a maximal cover after only one intervention. Here are the reasons why : a high number of grafts transferred, curly hair and an important hair diameter. Only a small part of the crown has not been covered.

This young man of 24 years old is a perfect candidate for a FUE. He is short hair and does not have a very dense donor area. The hair harvesting is good but the majority of the follicles is made by 2 hair. The number of big grafts is weak. Nevertheless, the hair was thick. The result is very encouraging. That's the kind of work I love to do. There are many reasons why. First of all because it is challenging, you have to move from a male appearance to a female appearance. The anterior lign have to be traced very carefully. It is very important to obtain a very natural result, very thin. Also, most of time you have to graft areas completely bald and obtain in only one session a big density. You can obtain it with a dense packing. The big advantage is that generally when a transsexual patient uses female hormones it completely stops the hair loss. This patient is very grateful with the result obtained. Indeed, the hair highly contributes to the appearance. It is a one of his main component. This patient came with a typical female pattern. The intervention was successful and had a nice score. Here is a very interesting example of FUE. As we can see on the pictures, the area to graft was wide, and the patient would like to cover the frontal area as well as the crown area. As the entire area was wide it was almost impossible to cover it in one intervention. So, we have decided to subdivide the surgery in two parts : the anterior area and then the posterior area. Also, the patient was aware that with his situation he will probably have to come back for another surgery in the years forward. The result is excellent. Nevertheless, we can see clearly that the non-grafted interim area is already less thick than the grafted areas. So, we will do something with a new limited intervention in a few months. It is a typical example of what we can obtain beginning with an empty area with a limited number of grafts. Details : Day 1 : 2530 grafts - 5196 hair. Day 2 : 1088 grafts - 2419 hair.

This patient is 49 years old. He has some thinning areas : the anterior area and the central area. A very important FUT was realized and we have obtained a excellent number of grafts and hair. Here are the details : 529 FUT1, 1833 FUT2, 954 FUT3 and 300 FUT4. For a total of 3616 grafts for 8257 hair. The anterior area was recovered, and the central area also. Density was not exaggerated to prevent the future loss. I take advantage of the opportunity to wish you all the best for this new year 2015.

This young patient of 29 years old is a very good candidate with a density of 85 FU per cm2. The FUT surgery has allowed to achieve 3268 grafts for 7723 hair. The details : 600 FUT1, 1628 FUT2,*793 FUT3,*247 FUT4. The anterior area has been kept quite high so the cover of the balding area was almost complete in one surgery. Ideally, we should perform another surgery to cover the rest of the crown and to reinforce a bit the density on the anterior area.

This patient came on March 2013 for his intervention. Usually, the choice of the grafts is reduced to hair. When the hair is thick enough, the result is often very good. But some factors have to be respected : the adequate number of grafts and hair, and the cut of the beard has to be quite short so the structure of the hair, different from the hair will not be visible. The patient received 3356 grafts. Recently, he came back for a new surgery of 600 grafts. Pictures show the result of the first intervention.

The situation is ideal, the hair is curly. He accepts to shave the recipient area and that allows a perfect work. The re growth was quick and the final result is extremely natural.

The good laxity and the good density of the donor area have allowed to reach an important number of grafts : 4059 grafts for 8589 hair. Details : 781 FUT1, 2120 FUT2, 1064 FUT3 and 94 FUT4. The regrowth was very quick. It is interesting to compare the situation at 3 months the situation at 6 months. Also, the aspect at DAY1 is particularly clean. We always clean very carefully the different areas and the patient keep cleaning for the first hours after the intervention. It allows to obtain very discreet results first.
