1. Hafta love the one choice polls.
2. Nice head o' hair!! I happy you selected a fine Doc, would hate to see a sub-par doc screw up such nice hair !! You have OUTSTANDING hair BTW. All the best ! NW
3. Full heads of hair- Normally belong to Rock stars & geeks, I think there is a correlation between not washing your hair and not losing it !!
4. s.o.a.p I sure bet you'll see some nice hair by the holiday season. Good luck to ya !! NW
5.
quote:
ps: If anyone GUARANTEES that you can go back to work the next day and look normal feel free to tell them they are lying. Swelling aparently doesn't happen to everyone but in my case it would have been beyond obvious. Luckily I took 2 1/2 weeks off work and was warned beforehand that swelling was a possibility. Wise words. Good Luck !! NW
6. NW3 is accurate Realistically pretty good hair at 43.
7. You may quit Propecia at any time. Why get a hair transplant if you know you are unable to curb the MPB problem ? I would NOT do HT if you cannot solve/slow the Hairloss issue - it would not make sense. 2 cents NW
8. PD, Re: Propecia/Proscar You have to weigh the chances of continued thinning ?, perhaps you will magically stop losing your hair as you age, pretty doubtful. I want & have fairly thick healthy hair at 42, (after 2 HT's). Propecia keeps my exsisting hair from perishing. But - I understand the reluctance to take medicine & nobody can make this choice for you. NW
9. Htpn, I went in after staple removal. NW
10. Comparing both pics - Framing your face with hair - in my opinion gives you a 10+ year age differential. Younger of course ! Congrats !
11. Looks like a nice improvement !! Are you by chance Bverotti's brother ?? Amazingly close !!
12. Drew, Plan on shockloss, especially if your 1st HT..maximize your time off or whatever possible, but I was pretty thin at around the 2nd month and it was "very" noticable...I wore a hat, I had to. NW
13. Tedd, Definately dont lose too much sleep over shock loss, it really hit me on my 1st HT, it grew back with the new stuff. You should see a nice overall improvement...the wait is always the hardest part. NW
14. Wow ! Amazing what framing your face with hair can achieve ! Looks very good, especially for 4 months. NW
15. Cool, your pics will be the biggest FUE session I have seen, Thanks for sharing & fast healing to you !! NW
16. With his excellent head o' hair he's probably workin the Rock Band scene ! I have found it common for guys that get good HT work to just disappear...I am a computer geek - fantasy football, Ebay, Car forums, stocks etc.., so I check in somewhat now and then, but nothing like I did when I needed some frontal hair. But yeah I too am curious to see how his 2nd HT is coming along, his work is easily in the top few. NW
17. Excellent ! Great hairline choice..not too low, but very full..I think you're set ! Gee..look at that 1995 pic, you have came a long ways...congrats ! NW
18. I finally saw "Bernie" His work looks like absolute Hell !!! Nowdays if you can detect a HT that easy, you have been shit on and burried for dead.
19. Dr Brandy (aka swood), Please stop playing on those Library computers...when you have true before/after pictures to share, report back. Thank you NW [This message was edited by NW on August 07, 2003 at 07:25 PM.]
20. Sharp, Your approach is a commonly used modern day method, one similiar to mine, however I had 2 ht's and only 3500 grafts. (easily 2,500+ left). I dont have any thin areas anymore period !, and Propecia seems to have helped the MPB from progressing. "IF", I were to have a HT later in life I would hope FUE could be my "fill-in" choice. NW
21. Propecia - 1. Raise's your testosterone levels 2. Lowers your DHT levels
22. Holy former Egghead !!!! Nice improvement
