1. Dr Hasson put appx 3,000 grafts into my frontal-mid appx 5 years ago. His work was absolutely phenominal !!!!...I hardly come back to this site much anymore since Propecia and HT have worked so well. I am 46 and still as much hair as after the HT work. Seldom do old timers ever come back and comment, so I thought I would. I am not sure if M. Ferko is still with H&W, but he was a big help as well. I may be in the archives somewhere. Pat H. your site is only getting better - good Job ! NW
2. Nope, not true at all, A state of the art HT is much better than shiny Bald. Bald is not beautiful, that is a remark specially made for men with no hair and bruised EGO's. Bald sucks !!
3. Looks like some nice growth, I would do 1 more 2000 session for density & then call it good. Congrats.
4. Yup ! I am a happy fat Man with boobs and no sex drive, but I have hair !! Kidding !!!! I have had no adverse reactions over 4 years on Propecia..the onlyreaction is no hair loss and a thicker crown.
5. I heard Bosley is now offering FUE !!! . . . . . . . J/K

Donald Trump ?

but you would think, with that kind of wealth, a comb over is a poor person's fix. He could have had that fixed by now! And it does "appear" he has decent crown hair ??
7. The Donald.... as in Trump Guess I see him too much on T.V. of late, but WTF is up with his hair ?? Way forward in the front and way recessed on the sides ?? Hair club, HT or just plain Goofy styling ?? Yes, I know this is nothing of grave importance...but thought I'd say something anyways, hedge-trimmers anyone ?

9. FUE ?? May be the best future option for tight scalp canidates.
10. He is either a plant or a troll IMO, there are always a few of them.
11. Otto, I think you have a medical conflict going on here, Propecia WILL interupt the effects of Testosterone suppliments, I have a very hard time believing a Doctor prescribes both at the same time, I am around the gym quite often myself, I would get a better medical opinion on this. Propecia directly kills T-cycles and the effectiveness. If you chose Testosterone injections you vote against keeping most of your hair, but if you have to have them (understandably so) you may (in time)have a sparsly transplanted head of hair, but feel better. IMO, you are offsetting each drug and wasting $$$$. All the best with your choices !
12.
quote:
God Bless America. This should help my plant grow in!!! From the looks of things the military experts are implying he may have had the FUE procedure.
13. Shed, I remember he changed his login name, not certain as to whom ?
14.
quote:
Topic: What to do if you are balding!!! Well...aside from the self-imposed pity, you have found the right place to research hairloss, but I would say if you are fine with bald..no need to wallow in the gutter over it. If you are looking for possible options....read up.
15. Hi Mr.Hair,I am 39 and I just had it done 6 months ago. The Doctor if he deserves to be called one lowered the grafts below my hairline which was not what we had decided during the consult and just prior but he was slick and played with the mirror and did some fast moving. I thought it was because he was running late. I guess now he was just being deceptive but I don't know why and never will.I want to vomit when I think of his sneaky ugly ass he knew he was overselling and what he was doing unfortunately I didn't at the time and had respect for all Doctors and was unaware pieces of dirt like him existed .The name just came to me out of desperation I guess and were I live. But I'll be moving to R.I. soon. _____________________________________ So who was your doctor ???? Wasnt it a MHR doc ??? [This message was edited by NW on December 02, 2003 at 06:23 PM.]
16. Dave, I quit for a while, In "my" case I did start to lose hair in the crown area eventually, I was o.k. for appx 3 months, then noticable thinning. Since I have no side effects & a full head of hair, I figure I will stick with it, or at least till something else comes out. Good Luck !
17.
quote:
My mother actually made a comment tonight, whom I've never told about having this done, but she asked if I was doing anything with my hair because it looked fuller. I told her "just wearing it longer I guess". Nice !!! "Yeah Mom, I cant believe that old bottle of Rogaine is finally kicking in !!!" Gosh after 6 years, finally something. Congrats
18. Joe, This forum will help you immensly, you have already probably figured out you received a HT that mimicks the Technology of the 80's. I am not being negative here, but avoid that clinic and read up before attempting another HT. You can probably get far better results elsewhere. For now dont worry though, things can be improved. Happy to have you aboard. Hang in there ! NW
19. Tedd, I can see the side/front starting to shadow its way in, by 4 1/2 to 5 mo's you will see a hairline forming. For me the 6 month point was the most exciting. Cheers !
20. Short answer...No Best hope is correctional work.
21. Figsy, After my 2nd HT I did have the tight scalp feeling too., However it subsided about the time the grafts started to grow & now 14 months later my scalp feels fully back to normal. I dont have any need for more HT, but later in life I would look at FUE, due to the possible tight scalp issue. I will bet you will feel a great deal of loosening once the healing takes place. NW
22.
quote:
Balloonman just visited for his 5 month follow up for scar FUE and his growth is excellent so far. Rough guess is that about 65% of the grafts have taken and grown. Even though he is not fully matured, the benefits of the ONE procedure are UNQUESTIONABLE. I will be posting the photos tomorrow with the details so everyone may see for themselves. Many of you know that I have been holding back on FUE until I could see MY OWN results, and so far I am VERY PLEASED. Much more to come on FUE. Dr. Feller Balloonman had previously mentioned 30% growth rate in the scar area ???
23. Hi Pete, Yes, very normal & happened to me also. The 4 1/2 month point is often magical, 4 1/2 - 7 is a typical growth zone. By new years you should have some sprouting goin' on.
