How old are you? are you noticing it receding further back?

Couldn't tell which were the before and after on the crown pictures, just looks like some are wet and some are dry.

Big picture of him bald, two small pictures grown out post op, so it's hard to tell how good it is or isn't....

Will give it one more shot before giving up, pretty close to that now tbh, been messed about so much now it's worn me right down!

I feel the opposite, I wish I hadd seen all the gory pics as it would of put me off and I wouldn't be in the situ I'm in now. It's great that you are happy though, congrats. I hope to one day feel the same but think it's not meant to be.

Thanks for the response, I will get some pics sent this week, been away this weekend so haven't had a chance yet. Would really rather not have smp, but would probably prefer to shave down my entire head and fill in the problem areas with fue. My main problem is the terrible direction of hair in my receded temple area, even when it's longer it's still apparent to me, so hoping there's a way to blend them to the centre hair which is untransplanted, or remove the really chunky ones and hope that new correctly angled hair will hide it somewhat.

Bit harsh, he's obviously very distraught by his hairloss to hide it from you, if you can't accept that maybe he's not the right guy for you? I don't blame him for hiding it, I didn't tell my wife for three years and she was totally cool about it and said that she suspected but if I wasn't ready to tell her then that was fine. They are white lies and are not a deception.

He should be covering up, if he gets burnt he could write all of that new HT hair off.

Type finasteride results into google images, the before and afters are quite suprising although maybe more the exception rather than the rule.

Don't think I have any moves left! The hairline is 5cm high, and hairs in the recession areas grow in the wrong direction, at least if my hairline was higher I could graft in front of it, but that's not the case.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but yes it does look like you will need some repair work to make this more natural, I'm in the same boat as you but you have only had one surgery so in my honest opinion, although you are going to have to throw more money at it, you will be an easy fix for a good Dr. Have a look through the Dr's list on here and do a lot of research and your situation will get resolved.

I did post them before but as I am quite disheartened about what happened to me I took them down. I was only just past an NW1 when I had my first bad HT by 'Dr' Norton in the UK, then had three more at Wellsbourne. The grafts that did grow are at terrible angles and the scar is messy with stitch marks. The scar doesn't go all the way round my head, it's about 13cm long, they took them all from the same place with poor technique. I have had fue into it, a lot, and I could maybe cut to 20mm without it showing now, although the stitch marks are still there! however I think that fue first was the wrong choice and that a revision should of been attempted first although it is a bit low, just touching the underside of the occipital bump. I will try to compile some pictures to send to you if you would like to see them.

I didn't tell my girlfriend about my hair until she was my wife, 3 years after we go together, she was fine about it, I got a goodun!
