They could do more. They could do proper donor management and they could not destroy the donor.

And they offered him "repair" with 150 grafts so he can f*ck off. It wasn't sincere attempt of help.

I don’t know if it’s poor donor management or shock loss.  Why on the first procedure the donor management was perfect and on the second one not good? Why in all other cases of HLC the donor management is good ?
have u seen the other results of HLC to see that they do great donor management in most cases ?

also if he doesn’t have enough donor how can they implant more than 150 for repair ? HLC also asked him if he wants money refund instead of this small repair. His recipient area is also much better than before.

that’s my opinion and I stop here. We don’t have to agree.

  2. As I read on this thread the clinic offered repair with some grafts from the limited donor or money refund. It’s the most the clinic can do after this.
I can’t explain why his donor looked good after first procedure with HLC and after the second one didn’t look good. Maybe it can be shock loss, if the grafts were not extracted in close distances.
as I said before every clinic has some not good cases. Hlc offered repair or money refund to the patient too. It can’t do anything more.
In general I have seen great donor management to the most patients of HLC.

Pekiner is also top notch too, and he was working in HLC before he opened his own clinic.

    Alright thank you.
I was also wondering how Dr. Gur is in terms of designing a natural looking hairline. Do you know anything about that?

Dr Gur is really good in designing natural hairlines. He doesn’t design straight hairlines which might look a bit unnatural. He also implants the grafts with natural angles. So overall a good option.
You can also check his results here or on a Facebook group hair loss conquerors or on his instagram page drgokhangur

    Hi,

I was wondering which doctor I should go to for a minor touchup in the temples. I got an offer from Gur for around 1400 crafts total.

Are there any other doctors you would recommend? My budget is around 3000 -4000 euro.

With your budget you could consider dr Gur, dr turan, dr demirsoy, dr yaman, dr soumesh (eugenix hair sciences). These doctors are between 1-1.5 euro / graft depending on the package you would choose.
Also dr laorwong (Thailand) at 1.88 euro/graft.
can you upload some pictures of yourself ?

That is not accurate.  Yaman has been known to deplete donor.  I have seen some patients post pictures about it.  Plus yaman uses mechanical extraction.  Gur is manual.

I disagree. I have seen great results from @Dr Resul Yaman and he does good donor management.
Dr yaman has also evolved his technique by using manual extraction in a 2 day session.

So I’ve only gotten a response back from Dr Laorwong, Dr Yaman, & Dr. Gur/Turan and I could get in with these doctors this summer. I’ve been on minoxidil and finasteride for about 9 months now and have seen some growth but my hairline hasn’t really been growing in, just baby hairs. I’m about a Norwood 2 and would just need the hairline reconstructed, I’m going to hold off on the crown and continue to use the meds for that area. I was hoping to get some advice from people who have experience with these doctors to help me narrow the list down and who you think designs the best natural hairline out of the 4, thank you!

Also, how does my donor area look? I took this pic 2 weeks after getting a skin fade. And does it matter if I use topical minoxidil on my donor area? Would that have an effect if its l hair that grew from the minoxidil is used for the hairline? Thanks.

All 4 doctors are good options. Personally I would select either one between turan, Gur, and yaman since I have seen more great patient results from them.

Almost 3 months in, I had to share as I’m seeing great signs of growth. As per my plan, the hairline Yaman drew is more noticeable, and looks natural!

The growth is really good for 3 months. You are going to get a great result. You are in safe hands with dr yaman 👌

thanks for the update. The work looks great and really clean.

Also the price of 3000€ for 3200 grafts is a great value for money for a great surgeon like dr Gur. I think this price is affordable , reasonable and it’s not overpriced like we see in other clinics…

7 months result. Very disappointed, very bad density in the frontal part.

    7 months.jpg

I think it looks pretty good for 7 months. The density is good and it will improved the next months. Remember Hair transplant is an illusion of density you can never expect natural hair density with hair transplant.
