  1. Also redness has dissipated quite a bit I think. Comments welcome btw
  2. 3 month update. Started noticing the growth kicking in about 2 weeks ago. Buzzed it down to a 3 guard just over a week ago. Pics taken in different lighting and angles.
  3. Everything looks on course. Lots of new hairs growing throughout the recipient zone
  4. Say no more (nudge, nudge, wink, wink ahem) 😂. Well how about tell us how did they administer the stem cell therapy-inject into the scalp?
  5. As a fellow Laorwong Patient, it’s good to see another report. Hairline looks very suitable and should frame your face very well and it’s great that the meds saved you quite a lot of grafts too. So you had both Dr Laorwong and Dr Ratchathorn perform the surgery on you? How was that? Also I’m sure people would like to know more about the stem cell therapy on offer. It wasn’t available and haven’t heard of it being available anywhere when I was there so sounds quite cutting edge!
  6. Enjoyed the prosaic anecdote! Dr Nader sounds truly awesome! If I had to nitpick, it seems there are multi grafts in the hairline. Did you ask the Dr about that?
  7. Doesn’t look that bad overall and imo looks pretty good when styled up. Your donor looks thick and this has given you good coverage, considering your starting point. A touch up in the areas you highlighted could work really well here- at a clinic with more Dr involvement of course.
  8. Not really sure if one specific brand is better than another tbh but you could compare a few brands online and see if there is any difference.
  9. Bring some aloe Vera and baby shampoo (they provide some but bring another bottle anyway) and you are good to go.
  10. 😮 What an incredible result! The coverage achieved is truly remarkable!
  11. Recipient is pretty red there. I’m coming up to the 3 month mark now soon and mine was/is pretty red too. I think it has calmed down but will have to buzz it so can check as I think I have a bit of growth starting.
  12. Honestly…this is freaking great! Considering your starting point, it is super dense and the hairline is really natural. As another poster mentioned, it’s hard to see your mid scalp here so could you perhaps comb your fringe down and take another pic? Great result nevertheless and another transplant will be future transformative for you no doubt.
  13. Good report and good to see another report from this clinic. Result looks dense. Indeed the value is unreal here and they also offer the LLLT therapy after surgery which you can’t argue with. The report is detailed regarding cm2 density which is another plus IMHO. Wanted to ask though, when you say the procedure took 6-7 hrs was that total: extraction, incision and implantation? If so seems quite short/quick. Also would be great if you could upload some pre surgery pics. Happy growing!
  14. Great result at 5 months and you seemed to have kept your nerve well during the ugly duckling stage. Congrats 🍾
  15. Late to the party here but FWIW Dr Patty looks like a really good value option here. Keep updating and would like to see more from this Dr
  16. Good report- Looks pretty densely packed- how many grafts in total? About 4000? Also post op the recipient area looked quite black. Did you or the Dr express any concern about that?
  17. At the 2 month stage now and the much lamented ugly duckling stage. Basically back to baseline and the redness has faded a bit, but looks worse depending on lighting so took some pics in different lighting just for contrast. Think there may be some signs of early growth and can see where the grafts are embedded under the skin. Also a few spots on the hairline which can be seen in the pic- a good sign apparently- touch wood. just waiting for the growth to kick in here, needless to say, but I’m keeping myself busy with work an all.
  18. Great result 👍 I saw the Dr on the website but not at the clinic when I was there. Indeed would be great to see more reports.
  19. Yeah there are different approaches depending on your goals; so you are not on fin, min for that long then? Guess it make sense to see what the gains are from that before going for the 2nd op. Happy growing!
  20. Great report and happy that you had a good experience. Was just wondering however, did the Dr discuss your long term plan? As you have quite extensive hairloss, did the Dr explain the rationale for spreading 3000 over a large area rather than focusing on the frontal third then doing the crown in a second surgery?
  21. Without paraphrasing the other comments too much: the work looks good and you have a good hair calibre also. Re the hairline, all hairlines are naturally asymmetrical, so this will add to the naturalness. I specifically asked the Dr for it to be uneven as I didn’t want it to be too straight or rounded.
