  1. Shedding doesn’t mean fin doesn’t work.
  2. I don’t think the math is right. Topical fin also gets absorbed into bloodstream although to a lesser extent so check if your sides from oral fin aren’t just placebo.
  3. Just to clarify my previous post, I asked because I am curious how to judge donors and the info on it is seriously lacking. You say your is overharvested so want to see how that looks like. I am also planning to get surgery with them so that’s another reason why I want to see what an overharvested donor from this particular clinic looks like. I think we’re past the point of you having to prove anything, it’s clear they did a bad job with you. You would be really helping me out here
  4. I am in consult with a few clinics already who are evaluating my case and will get back to me in few weeks. HLC is in the list as well and I contacted them on WhatsApp but it seems abandoned number? How do I get in touch with them? Through WhatsApp or email? Can the past patients of theirs tell me how do I reach them. @EvansLawrence @Vann @MachoVato
  5. Yeah if finasteride is considered dangerous and a definite boner killer then it would be infinitely worse for young guys. And even for old people. Thankfully that’s not the case and the fear of finasteride is worse than its sides
  6. They do? Pretty much every surgeon has detailed chart of how much they charge per graft
  7. They do seem to have grown but not dense. I am consulting with Dr Turan as well and concerned about the poor growth on left side. But it’s also a bad angle as Melvin suggested. Comb the hair up not down so the complete hairline can be seen clearly, you’re doing the opposite.
  8. What the hell? There is no irritation from DHT to anything. I guess if he was explaining this to an illiterate person then his analogies would be needed but man, they’re weird hahaaa
  9. PRP has some benefit during the surgery when the grafts are placed in PRP solution, it increases graft survival outside the body and after placed into recipient area helping with healing. 3 weeks later is just gimmick as almost all of the healing is done and it’s just hair cycle that needs to happen
  10. That’s Zarev also. He’s hard to reach and has a serious lack of results as well. But he gets regarded highly. What’s that about?
  11. That’s unfair Dr Pitella also doesn’t recommend finasteride, will you question his motives? Doctors also have divided opinions on finasteride, there’s one camp which thinks PFS guys are cuckoo and absolutely will not do HT unless the person is on finasteride for a year before because it helps with HT results. Then there’s another camp which doesn’t prescribe fin for their patients. PRP has its benefits, how much is debatable but it’s not useless. Hair grafts placed in PRP solution survive more and for longer periods of time compared to cold saline solution. I don’t think his doctor is upselling him because he doesn’t like fin and suggests PRP. There has to be other evidence of scammy tactics to form such an opinion.
  12. It is a horrible take and just misinformation. First, if you go bald at 20, how does that give you more dating chances lol. You’re not the only one hitting the gym bro and NW0 hitting the gym will steal the girl. The whole Andrew tate mascular bald guy appeals to other guys but not women definitely not young girls. Andrew tate without money and fame is just a loudmouth ugly bald guy lol. It’s devastating to be a bald guy at such a young age, I guess it will work for gay guys because guys are into the gym naked mole rat look more but not for straight guys. Second, have you ever used finasteride? It doesn’t hurt your virility, what BS. I agree with Melvins opinion if he did say it. At such an old age if you stay NW6, yeah you’re not going NW7 or going NW7 very slowly. What’s the point of adding medication when you probably are using other medication to stay alive at that age Your opinion appears to be of someone who has zero experience of baldness at young age or with finasteride. Young bald guys get bullied in school/college/university, if you save your confidence somehow after all the bullying, there won’t be much left when the girl rejects you. No amount of gym time will give you confidence then. I mean mate, there’s a guy on this forum who dumped by his fiancé at 24, tell him to hit the gym and be andrew Tate, that will make him the ladies man 😂 As someone who lost hairs at 30 because I was afraid of finasteride, I wish I had started fin earlier. I feel the devastating effects of baldness in my 30s, I can’t imagine how horrible my life would’ve been if it had happened in my 20s.
  13. It’s hard to judge your hairloss with the first picture. I guess I see some recession but could just be camera angle. The second picture shows a full head of healthy thick hair. You have to post a better quality picture of hairline recession for us to judge it. I don’t know if you’ve aggressive hairloss. That’s something a dermatologist can say if he sees widespread miniaturisation everywhere on your head or if you notice your Norwood level increasing rapidly in a short time. At 18, hairloss can be devastating and I know people who laugh off hairloss as something benign but it is the most scary thing to happen to someone. So you’ve to understand the panic aspect as well, what I mean is perhaps your hairline receded a little but it doesn’t mean you’re going bald at 19 or 20 or you’ve aggressive hairloss. Hairline maturation can happen in late teens but then hairloss stabilises for years. It will make you panic and freak out though. Maybe you can start dutasteride for a year or two to calm your nerves and allow yourself to live your life without worrying about hairloss or visiting hair transplant forums at 18 then when you calm down and realise your hair isn’t going anywhere, you can lower your hairloss medication.
  14. If you’re in the US, why not Konior if you’ve the money? Or other recommended doctors in the list.
  15. Yeah those hairs at the front look thick and healthy and if they’re transplanted hairs they are permanent. If you keep using fin and min, you should’ve a wonderful result with a good clinic and your hairloss will stay stable even improve. Which doctor did your first transplant?
  16. It seems like your current regime is doing you well, you’re on fin and min already for 10 years, 38 years old and there’s no sign of miniaturisation. Healthy thick and dense hairs everywhere. I don’t know what you think dutasteride will do for you, it’s not going to give any regrowth and like I said your hairs don’t show any sign of loss at all, it’s a common myth that fin stops working after certain years, fin results actually keeps getting better and better as years go on in studies. Really don’t see any reason to tank your DHT levels anymore than they already are. Perhaps you have some NW1 type hairline but it’s hard to tell and we also don’t know what your hairline was like before you started using Ashley and Martin’s. We are our worst critics when judging our appearance and there’s always an element of BDD with hairs, if you have pre-treatment photos available, compare that to now then you should be able to judge better if you’ve lost any ground or improved. Please remember there’s mature hairline too that some people have and not necessarily means hairloss, I have seen people rock a NW1 late into their 50s-60s with their hairloss not progressing any forwards. I don’t see a need for hair transplant or change in treatment plan and just to put things into a little perspective. Minoxidil is a strong hair stimulant and the usual dose is 5%, you’re using it at 7%…the combination of fin and min also gives better results when used together. Finasteride works at even as low dose as 0.2-0.5 mg twice or thrice a week ( which is what I have always used and I have more aggressive hairloss than you have ) and you use it 1mg/day. I see dutasteride - which will block both types of 5ar enzyme, lead to more complete DHT suppression - as unnecessary and redundant given your level of hairloss ( apparent lack of ). Lastly, this Ashley and Martin company seems to be selling generic fin and min at expensive (?) prices but aside from the conditioner and shampoos, they did give you solid treatment. 7% Minoxidil is no joke neither is 1mg finasteride, they’re the only treatment for hairloss that works and they give you high dosage. They can be blamed for selling shampoos and conditions but then how many gazillion companies are there selling nonsense shampoos and conditioners that supposedly help hairloss but all they really do is worsen it and dry out your scalp and skin. Do stop them if they’re expensive than generics though.
  17. Really interested in your case. Looks good so far. please keep the updates coming in
  18. You’re right. This will get me banned because I don’t know the proper way to use clown emojis, words like “logic man” etc in English to look sophisticated and not get in trouble. Youre right, my English is weak. I need to learn and practice how to insult someone without being rough or appearing like a bad person. I can do it in my language but in English, I appear bad even though someone else start insulting me first but their English is sophisticated so even though I reciprocate, I look worse. Cheers and thanks for the advice.
  19. Something like 5mg perhaps or 10mg You have to understand that topical delivery form delivers a lot more drug than oral route can. Although it’s diluted, there’s less area to cover and more focused application. Oral will circulate in your body and not necessarily concentrate in your scalp. It also depends on drug PK properties where majority of it ends up, I don’t know about minoxidil pk.
  20. The reasoning behind this is if you let your hairloss progress to the Norwood level you’re genetically disposed to, there might not be enough donor left. That’s why some doctors ask to be on finasteride for sometime and stay on it forever after HT.
  21. This is why I stopped watching these hairloss YouTubers, clickbaity, watch 20 minutes for 20 seconds content. And it becomes clear they don’t really care about helping their viewers but just getting more views. The only hairloss youtuber I watch is Kevin, and no surprise his channel is nowhere near as famous as other hairloss channels. Good content is boring content. Not really fun to be enticed to watch a video claiming a cure or breakthrough!!11!!1!!! found every few days but that probably brings more views and clicks.
