  1. Yeah it looks really bad to me but I don’t know a thing about donors. And more knowledgeable people than me are telling you it’s OK so must be. I don’t know if there’s a way to tell overharvesting from shock loss and what a good and bad donor management looks like soon after post op. Take a look at this, this picture is of a patient from the clinic I am searching. I mean it looks bad to me but the clinic and everyone said it might not be bad. I think it looks exactly like you or maybe yours is a little worse. He’s a nw6 with massive # of grafts extracted. Good recipient growth. Anyway yeah, hope it gets better for you soon rather than later. Cheers
  2. Can you please post your donor area picture?
  3. Nah Because it’s not easy, downright impossible to cure baldness. The problem is it’s a body wide problem rather than just limited to one organ. You have DHT which is used everywhere, prolactin again with different functions than just hair follicles and testosterone. There isn’t one gene but several genes involved in balding and we don’t even know which genes play what role and to what extent. Stem cell research is in its infancy, before a cure can come for hairloss there will be bigger diseases cured and that’s when it will be applied to hairloss as well. I think people don’t realise how complicated human body is, it’s a beautiful well tuned machine and we just don’t know about it enough to be able to only target one organ without affecting the rest. But the biggest hurdle to any progress is $$$. It’s just not profitable to cure baldness. There’s more money in drugs like fin, breezula, minox etc and hair transplants are so damn profitable, it’s a joke. Truly insane. It’s the same reason now more people are dying of infections than they did in past due bacterial resistance simply because pharma has lost interest in bringing more antibiotics to the market even though new ones are discovered every year by research institutes. Cures aren’t profitable, chronic treatments bring the big bucks. So yeah just take fin and min or get a HT and move on with your life. Nothing happening in our lifetime
  4. I would like to know too. I can’t understand how to tell overharvesting from shock loss
  5. Hair fibers are amazing, aren’t they? I was blown away too when I first used them and you couldn’t tell I was bald lol
  6. Yeah he works himself in small sessions and some of the hairline work he did makes you go wow.
  7. Telling to just shave it bro on a hair transplant forum 😂 If that was his goal, he would be on baldcafe won’t he?
  8. I don’t see hairloss anywhere? Sometimes I think people think they are supposed to have hairs every nanometer of their head 🤷‍♀️
  9. The surgeons you listed especially Bisinga should be able to do an impressive job. He’s known for Afro hairs. I think you’re overthinking things a lot too. You’ve chosen some of the best doctors and there’s that. Didn’t get a bad job at a hairmill, don’t need repairs, chose quality surgeons, have less hairloss, this should be a home run.
  10. I think he shouldn’t try finasteride actually anymore after reading about PFS and he’s probably been to the forum. And he seems to have formed a strong opinion about finasteride as well. They did a trial actually where people who weren’t told about side effects did better than those who were told about side effects. Heck, they even did a study where people on placebo had post sugarpill syndrome ( they didn’t get finasteride but thought they did ). The beautiful thing is that their symptoms persisted for more than 6 months and all they received was placebo pills. When I read his post, he seems like a person that shouldn’t be trying finasteride at all. He’s surprised fin is recommended freely. I think people seriously underestimate the power of mind concerning sexual health and mind/brain health.
  11. So when you start finasteride, a shed happens round about 1-3 months, sometimes 6 months. Depends really on individual. After a HT, the hairs will shed within a month or so. Probably a good time then to start it. I suppose within the 3 months post op is a good time. The worst time probably is after 5 months when the results start coming in, you don’t want to make them go into a shed again 😄 I really don’t think it will hurt your hairs in anyway. But cosmetically you will have to wait a longer and might have different timeline to when people normally see results
  12. Sorry my bad, you’re right. Also, I just meant it generally as a wish to see more patients post their results than as an objection to this clinic. Given how many people get HTs, just seems like most don’t post about their results but that’s a discussion for another topic.
  13. Sheeeeeshhhh 🤮👎 They did you really dirty, my man.
  14. I hate seeing results like this. You want to say good things and be proven wrong but what you see is exactly what it is. How much did it cost? Please tell me it was cheap at least. This forum absolutely trashes Turkish hairmills as they should but in my unpopular opinion, they have value for most people like OP here. If he had ended up at an average hairmill, he would have far better growth, maybe multis in the hairline and bad donor but I think good recipient growth with bad donor beats bad growth. You can move alive hairs again and repair them but if they die, they’re dead and wasted. And it would’ve been far cheaper as well. Anyway, the next clinic you choose please choose from this forum recommended list. The sad thing is you didn’t even need a HT in the first place, now you’re going to be rocking a FUT scar and and a double hairline with island in middle that needs repair and a lot of your precious grafts are wasted that you will need later in life perhaps
  15. I don’t like hairloss youtubers except Kevin Mann and a select few. They get popular then they want to sell their products which are BS for the most part. Or they withhold information behind their product or tease information or make you watch a half hour video for 20 second information. Ughh. Don’t even get me started on the clickbait titles, I hate clickbait title but YouTube is so trash that it’s allowed and encouraged. Yuck I used to watch a lot of hairloss youtubers before finding this forum and it’s like I learned everything about hair transplants and hairloss in one week here including the good clinics all for free. YouTube is more like a money making platform than a knowledge sharing platform. Google doesn’t care, I heard they want to compete with TikTok now so the clickbait and trash content will get even trash. Not saying you are going to turn out like that but I don’t feel like wasting my time. cheers
  16. Why not? The more the merrier. I have seen his name a lot here and the results posted in OP are all really good. We need more good clinics recommended all over the world. My only slight issue is patients themselves don’t post their results but I understand that might be hard or impossible as I have bugged the patients of this clinic I am researching and they just won’t bother posting to this site. Maybe this site needs to get more popular or most patients are selfish I guess. What mistake? I thought he was still recommended.
  17. I have always taken it at 0.2-0.5mg every 2-3 days later and it worked well. Not sure why this is so surprising, it’s established that the drug stays in system for a long time and we want it in skin not blood. When I went off it, 2-3 weeks later is when I saw my hairs fall slowly and after a month is when I felt free of fin effects completely.
  18. You look denser in before pictures. Are you on fin or min? This is bad, seems like most grafts didn’t make it from first impression which is shocking as this is a really good doctor. Why didn’t you go with Dr Rahal again if his transplant was successful for you second time? See this is why I always say that a bad donor but good recipient growth is better than bad growth because you can repair a donor but if the grafts don’t make it on recipient they are gone forever and donor only can give so much. I hope this is just a case of slow growth and it improves.
  19. No offence but do you also suggest to absolutely avoid Dr Pitella? Twice you derailed my posts when there were doubles in the hairline, the second time there weren’t any noticeable ones and the patient was happier, definitely looked better than this guy’s temples I know you will not stand by your words and recommend Dr Pitella. Just had to point out your absurd contradictions and standards that you employ for different surgeons, for this the patient should grow his hair out hehe. Of course Dr Pitella is awesome as were the results that I have posted but your nitpicking was absurd and with an agenda 😏
  20. I know smoking seriously hinders healing and bone doctors ( orthopaedics) don’t even perform surgery on patients because their bone won’t heal making the surgery pointless. As for vaping, I don’t know if this applies as well. But vapes also has pretty nasty chemicals.
  21. Whoever is closer to you so you can save money and time. Both are good doctors 👍
