I do not have the money for that unfortunately. @SeanTomanI do think I respond well to finasteride, I have never had a side effect and have been taking for 5 years. I also think it has kept my hair despite having a system. I enjoy FUECapilar's results a lot and they are what I would want for my outcome.

Hi all, Some of you may remember me. About a year ago, I was planning to do a hair transplant with a local, random doctor. After coming to this forum, I was luckily steered away from making an expensive mistake. You can see my post history for the thread I am referring to. My situation is slightly unique, as I do wear a hair system and have for nearly 3 years. I have been on finasterside for over 5 years. After conducting another few months of research, I decided my favorite two clinics for both price and results are FUECapilar and Dr. Luis Nader. Additionally, I have since moved, where Dr. Luis Nader is only 5 hours away by car. I do like the results of FUECapilar better, but I am not getting much responses from them. On the other hand, Brenda at Dr. Nader's office has been responsive and already booked me a date (December 27/28). I am strongly considering following through with this appointment with Dr. Nader. While I am able to find more consistent good results online from FUECapilar, I only see glowing recommendations about Dr. Nader. Additionally, FUECapilar would be cheaper. Does anyone have input on this situation? The December 27/28 date is perfect for me because I am off of work for the holidays -- my only problem would be to miss a wedding but it is out of state anyway. Do y'all still believe that Dr. Nader is a solid choice? I've attached some pics for reference -- the goofy haircut is due to my system.

Hi all, I wanted to update this thread. Having a shaved head sent me into a horrible depression and mental spiral. I didn’t leave my house for a while and eventually went back to my stylist and got a bald fade system cut in and transitioned back to normal hair system wearing. I have since moved to Texas. But, again, I find myself eyeing hair transplants. The system works but I want my own hair, and I want it to be age appropriate for me in the future. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I feel stuck with this system - can’t take it off unless I go through with a procedure. Perhaps I will get back into the research part of this process. I wish I could’ve enjoyed life bald, but it really destroyed me.

Also, weeks of tenuous conversation leads to a message saying "here is the bank account, wire X euros to hold your spot" ...? What? It's a WhatsApp conversation, and a document was typed up on a Word Processor using Comic Sans. Am I wrong for being uncomfortable? Does anyone have experience with this kind of situation when looking abroad?

Hi all, I have been continuing conducting research after posting here a few weeks back, and was steered away from a would-be bad decision. I have been using this forum as a resource to only look into doctors that have proven results. I have been interested in a doctor in Turkey, and have been in communication with their office. I am interested in this clinic due to their results (the patients before pictures are similar to my own hair situation, and I am impressed with the outcome), affordability, and attestations on this site. Also, this clinic is forum-recommended. My biggest qualm has been distance, but that is a fear I know I will have to get over. Anyway, the communication is almost nonexistent, and I wanted to know if this is just kind of how it is when dealing with Turkish clinics, or if this is an issue that I should be concerned about. All communication occurs via WhatsApp, which I don't love, and it seems very... tenuous? One word responses, choppy grammar, often going days without a response, lack of typical formalities ("thank you", "please", etc.). I do not feel like I am communicating with professional clinic, or a person really. It does not seem like they even want my business, as often I am saying .....okay, what comes next? Anyway, does anyone have input on this? I understand that there exists a language barrier, and perhaps this is just the way it is. I'm just shocked that this is the communication from a forum-recommended clinic, and it does not provide me with confidence in traveling overseas for such an operation.
