  1. The benefit of the no shave FUE is the fact that when it sheds it just looks like it did before the surgery, right? It’s not like it looks worse or anything. Or would you say the redness is noticeable?
  2. Hello. I have a question about double grafts. Obviously the donor area has these, so do other parts of the head? I know they shouldn’t be on the hairline, so if someone has doubles from a bad transplant can singles be implanted in front to hide them? Or would they still be noticeable?
  3. Couto doesn’t do the extractions. I had a face to face consultation and this was confirmed.
  4. Hi @Smash Thanks for this detailed write up. You originally agreed 1000 grafts but ended up getting 1500? Did you just have to pay the difference when you were there? And the original 1000 estimated was based on pictures you sent?
  5. Hi @mustang, could you kindly confirm that you actually work for Dr Mwamba? You are Joshua Siebelink, the guy who literally replies from info@fueclinic.com, no? There’s no question that your own thread is very educational, but a little transparency on why you promote Dr Mwamba so much would be appreciated.
  6. Does anyone know if that price is inclusive of VAT? For example, Lorenzo and Couto’s €5 per graft is inclusive of VAT. If the €3.50 isn’t inclusive, then in reality it’s €4.24 per graft. @Melvin- Moderatordo you happen to know? Thanks
  7. No, I found the process to get a consultation with him to be the most difficult. Do you happen to know the price per graft at his clinic?
  8. I had in-person consultations with both Dr Couto and Dr Lorenzo very recently and both consultations lasted approximately an hour. I went to Madrid for Couto, but I genuinely got better vibes from Lorenzo and thought the consultation was more thorough. Both have quoted me €5 per graft and both have drawn very similar hairlines. But Couto said it’s 1600 grafts and Lorenzo’s is 1000 grafts. The written quote I’ve received from FUEXPERT Clinic doesn’t specify the number of grafts, just the price. I really don’t think the number he’s said is right, particularly when this video shows a lot more grafts needed than my case and it’s 100 less: I’ve come on this forum to conduct further research before making a decision and I keep changing my mind based on what I’m reading; I do agree that 3 or 4 surgeries a day is a lot. And I see your points about the technicians being left to it. So that putting me off Lorenzo a bit too.
  9. I found the email address online. It’s just info @ web address. I remember emailing and getting a response saying to email back a couple of months later when they open up their consultations window. So I did, and was then given a date for a year later. So it was roughly 14.5 months between first emailing and then having a face to face consultation (which was completely free by the way).
  10. The part about consultations isn’t true. He only conducts consultations on Fridays and there’s no surgery that day. Surgery days are Monday to Thursday.
  11. Dr Couto doesn’t perform extractions either. I had a consultation recently and in truth I came out feeling a little underwhelmed.
  12. Who did the actual hairline? Looks so natural man. Congrats on the fantastic results. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Thanks for the quick reply man! So you’d happily go to any of them? Is there much difference between any in the top 10? As people have already pointed out, Mwamba is cheaper than most of the others. For 1500 grafts he would be €3000 cheaper than the ones who charge €5 per graft. I know I said money is no object, but why pay more if you don’t have to? But if you say the top 3 surgeons are in a higher class (I’m guessing you’d say Couto is number 1?) then that would make the extra cost worthwhile… So if you don’t mind, please could you put them in order for me @mustang? Thank you!
  14. Hi @mustang I read your own post, as well as your comments on this one. I am currently looking into clinics in Europe and wanted to know your opinion on who the best surgeon is? You’ve been to several clinics for your surgeries, although you’ve been to Dr Mwamba a number of times recently… So if cost is no object, who would you recommend for 1500 grafts? Who are the 3 Iberians you speak of? Couto, Freitas and Lorenzo? Who else makes up the top 10 in your opinion? Thanks in advance!
