  1. Looks great. If you keep the sides shorter it would look even better!
  2. Clinics don’t pay to advertise on here? I’m sure you admitted that on another thread… Dr. Couto literally told me that you approached him but he rejected as he doesn’t need the extra marketing so didn’t want to pay. And you seemed to deliberately spell his name wrong in response. None of that’s true?
  3. For transparency, could you confirm if you’ll be getting paid extra by the clinic for helping them with this @Melvin- Moderator?
  4. Have any surgeons struggled to extract from your donor after you’ve had SMP, @mustang?
  5. Did you consider SMP for the donor too? Or are you still planning on another surgery so you’re going to wait?
  6. How much would you recommend SMP @mustang? How long ago did you have it done? I believe it needs touching up every 4 years or so, is that right?
  7. What does your donor area look like after the 2000 grafts mate? That is definitely something which should impact your decision to return to the same clinic, in my opinion.
  8. No, I haven’t made contact yet. Still undecided about having a second procedure but will continue to do research.
  9. Sorry, I missed this. Here is the link: https://www.hairlossexperiences.com/threads/dr-michalis-georgiou-manual-fue-1214-grafts.11803/
  10. Are you going back to Brussels then mate? Has anything been said about them doing extra grafts while you’re there? Or would you have to book in for months down the line and go back again? Brussels isn’t exactly a cheap city so I hope they look after you.
  11. Hey guys, Does anyone know much about Dr Michalis Georgiou in Cyprus? I saw a great case on another forum and his prices are very reasonable. If you’re willing to send in regular update pictures for their website it’s €1.50 a graft, with flights and accommodation included for procedures over 2000 grafts. So 2000 grafts would be €3000 in total, unless these prices are not up to date? 3000 grafts would be €4500. Seems very reasonable price for a procedure with heavy doctor involvement. Not too much more than a Turkish hairmill… Thoughts anyone?
  12. I can see why you’re thinking of having a second surgery. Definitely worth contacting a few clinics to see how many grafts they would recommend and taking it from there? Perhaps Dr Lorenzo in Madrid might be a good fit for something like this. His wait times aren’t as crazy as some of the others either.
  13. I did not suggest that Mwamba’s clinic is a hairmill at all. I questioned why Lorenzo’s clinic is considered a hairmill when it’s not much different to others, like Mwamba’s. Obviously De Freitas and others have even more than Mwamba. I was unaware of that too.
  14. If I’m one of the “low post users” you’re referring to, I was actually in contact with the OP before his transplant. Mwamba was on my shortlist. So I’m following a few Mwamba threads on here. But the terrible communication from the clinic put me off (can anyone really contest that their communication is woeful?!). Forums need transparency. Unfortunately, we were not getting that on this forum regarding Mwamba. You’re an idiot if you still don’t think that Mustang is the paid employee Joshua Siebelink. That is hardly a conspiracy theory. And Melvin receives payment for promotion of Mwamba too, so naturally there’s going to be some bias towards him and the other clinics who pay. I’ve just pointed out that Mwamba often performs on two patients a day. That information always seemed to be missing from this forum, so I have contributed for balance. Lots of people have seen Mustang list Mwamba in the top 10 surgeons in the world (and say Bisanga is not in the top 10). So there’s a high expectation for solid results (which we have seen on CaptainCalico’s thread). I really hope that RTC sees further growth/density over the next few months and we all appreciate you updating us.
  15. I first read about it on another forum and then Mwamba admitted it himself on @Ajamilo’s thread (screenshot below). It might not be every day, but it’s certainly a regular thing.
  16. You really don’t think that having 2 patients makes the days longer?
  17. The reason the surgery takes so long is because he simultaneously works on two patients at the same time. If it was one patient per day then the patient would be in and out in shorter time. I see Dr Lorenzo get a lot of stick on this forum because he performs on 3 patients per day. Well that’s only one more than Mwamba. So why is Lorenzo’s clinic referred to as a “Spanish hairmill” and yet no one ever seems to mention that Mwamba performs on two?
  18. Could you share pictures please? Apologies if it’s in another thread.
  19. I mean, he has a YouTube channel and has made some videos, but I would hardly call him a YouTuber. He’s very much a normal person. I would actually suggest more people make videos like him. It’s not much different to writing a review on here. You don’t have to show your face.
  20. I was a bit confused when you first mentioned it looking pluggy because I thought it’s multi grafts that make the hairline look pluggy. I didn’t realise that you hadn’t had the hairline lowered. Was that because it was already as low as it should go from the first transplant? Seems bizarre that Mwamba thought the appearance would drastically improve if they’re not ALL singles on the hairline. It is strange that both clinics have failed to create density.. I really have my fingers crossed for you that it improves in the next few months. I would suggest you create a video update on your YouTube channel. No need to slate anyone at this stage, but hopefully your video would get enough views for Mwamba’s clinic to take note and want to improve the situation. They should even offer you the accommodation for free.
  21. So sorry to hear this mate. Do you mind sharing pictures so we can see?
  22. It really is interesting to me that all clinics give different guidance for the hair washes. Your results are looking great so far!
