  1. Yeah, I suspect that a bunch will do the same, especially if you are booked for a year out. This means that they've already quoted people at the old price for a year. They won't see the increase until March 2023. Good luck and let us know who you pick.
  2. Wow, maybe ask if you book today if you can have the old price since you've been working with them. Dr. De Freitas was already cheaper on larger graft cases but now he's much cheaper.
  3. His office told you this I'm assuming? But you haven't received an estimate yet? Many people haven't been able to get an estimate from him. Maybe he's opening his calendar back up.
  4. I guess you also have to figure that if he wants to raise rates in 1 year, he needs to increase now since he's booked a year out. His financial gain won't be seen till then so maybe looking at inflation, he's acting now. Just guessing here of course. I know a couple of Dr's just increased though. Dr. Biçer and Dr. Bisanga being 2 I know of. Likely more to come.
  5. Wow! Interesting...I guess it makes sense since supply/demand but he really just went to 3€ not long ago. I was mad I missed out at 2,5€ lol. I'd say he's likely still worth it but Dr. Pinto at 2,6€ seems like better value. I wouldn't be surprised to see his price increase soon as well.
  6. That's all I meant. By looking at actual reviews, make a decision based on this and not just the fact that a Dr is recommended. The Dr's recommended are based on reviews but that doesn't mean that they can't start putting out bad work or have bad reviews that should be taken into account. So I'm just informing the OP to do research and don't just assume that a recommended Dr is automatically an excellent choice, because I don't believe that's the case.
  7. Yes, the approved list. Any site or forum is similar I believe as this is a business. That's not to say that some of those Dr's aren't good because likely most are. But make no mistake, it's a form of advertising. If a Dr doesn't want to pay, he will not be recommending here. This is why it's important to read the real patient reviews listed on this or other forums.
  8. Dr's pay to be recommended here so it's a form of advertising. Pick your surgeon from real patient reviews. The recommended list is not perfect in my opinion as they have Dr's that aren't the best and likewise some better Dr's are not listed. Research is key.
  9. Looked at your pictures better and I can see your point of going crown 1st.
  10. That's a rather unusual tactic for a HT. The hairline is what people see 1st and frames your face. It's also easier to conceal your crown with topik and other products. I'd rethink this strategy and go for the hairline 1st.
  11. I'd stay away from Dr. Yaman if it was me. Look at @digi23 case from him. Turkey is honestly not the best place for a HT. Much better Dr's in Portugal, Spain and Belgium. For a little more money you can get a much better Dr.
  12. My advice is to try finasteride. You won't notice it doing anything except you'll keep your current hair. Definitely get it from a Dr though. If you get sides you might just adjust your dosage so say 3x a week instead of every day. If you can afford some of the Portuguese and Spanish Dr's, I think they are just on a different level than any of the Turkey Dr's. Of course this is all subjective so doing research and finding real patient reviews with similar hair style to you is important.
  13. Also, all 3 have about a year wait list so this would give you more time to save.
  14. Look at Dr. Pinto for 2.6€ per graft, Dr. Ferreira for 3€, both in Portugal. Then Dr. De Freitas in Spain at 3.5€ for the 1st 1,000 grafts but 2.5€ afterwards. All 3 are not much more and way better options in my opinion.
  15. This☝️☝️☝️ Do research and get plenty of consultations. Read patient reviews and only proceed when you feel comfortable with the clinic. Not saying price shouldn't be a factor but do more research before you jump into this.
  16. Dr. Nader seems decent too. If it was me, I'd save a bit more for Dr. Pinto and you'll have a year to save. If not then maybe pick between HMR, Dr. Nader and Dr. Biçer but there is a reason why the other Dr's cost more in my opinion.
  17. Are you not doing your hairline? I'm confused by this because you said that you were doing your front and crown.
  18. Actually this is completely false. Turkey is mostly a scam. Dr. Biçer and HLC are decent and maybe a few others but personally I'd pick Spain and Portugal way before Turkey. How old are you? Are you on medication for HL?
  19. Yeah, Dr. Pinto would be a little more money but might be worth it in my opinion. Honestly I don't have knowledge about this clinic but I believe I've heard @Melvin- Moderator talk about it before? Did you search real patient reviews from this clinic?
  20. I wouldn't limit yourself to 1 clinic. Get several consultations. Most really good Dr's have a year waiting list so maybe saving money over this period will put you with a better Dr. I really like Dr. Pinto in Portugal for 2.6€ per graft. Dr. Ferreira in Portugal for 3€ and Dr. De Freitas in Spain in 3.5€ for the 1st 1k grafts then 2.5€ afterwards. These are not the only options but definitely a few I'd look into. Do more research and get several consultations before moving forward. I think the graft count sounds close to me though. How much was the quote you received?
  21. I would also add some vitamins to your routine. @MazAB is a good resource but I added a few others too. I'm taking liver pills, Zinc, Hyaluronic Acid, MSM, Vitamin D, Collagen and a multivitamin with biotin in it. I think it's possibly helping with early growth for me but who knows if I would've grown the same without it. Here is a picture of my Vitamin routine. I also drink a protein shake every day and eat about 3-5 avacados a week. Again I'm not sure this does anything as I'm always skeptical but this is relatively cheap to do and it may help?
  22. Your doctor should answer this question but my doctor told me at least 30 days without sauna. I waited almost 2 months though to be safe. You can usually wear a cap after 5-7 days. Laser cap is not really needed for healing/growth but if you have $700, it likely can't hurt either. How much it helps, I'm not sure but I'm convinced that you can grow hair without one. I'd wait at least 3-5 days before flying back but everyone is different on this. Some people hop on a plane the next day. Cabin pressure can increase swelling though.
  23. Can I ask why only these 2 doctors?
