    Dude i stopped fin for 6 months as well and that did a number on the thickness of my hair too.. Don't stop taking Finasteride people.

    2000 grafts or more is considered a large case, 4 to 6k is a megasession, FUT only isn't worth if you're getting 1900 grafts or less, in my opinion.

    How old are you now? My hair is exactly like this but thinner. Every doctor keeps quoting me 1k to 1.9k grafts, which I really don't agree with, it's really frustrating. At certain angles or length I guess it would help but i want to grow out my hair, like really grown out.

    Don't listen to these people who will give you terrible advices like "don't ever let cost be the deciding factor for your decision", every single one of us live in different types of economy, and earn money in different rates, and people giving these kinds of advices probably live in high income countries, their minimum wage is considered high income for different countries. If you've done a lot of research, you're educated enough about this procedure and the different doctors and you've set a budget, then just follow your gut feeling. If you have a sure fire way of earning back those savings or have a back up plan in case you lose your source of income, then go for it.

    Hey, any advice would be nice. This is the state of my hair after 4 months of going completely bald. So I'm gonna be 31 in march, had major shedding happen to me last year between march to october, (stabilized it with Propecia I think, started august) got quoted 900 grafts (what) from a local clinic to fix the temple recession but i feel like I need like 2k to 3k grafts to be really happy. I want as full density as I can achieve with a hair transplant and medical therapy, what do you guys think? I feel like I'm destined to be. Norwood 5.

    Your natural hair is insanely thick, hot damn! You can't see scalp in it at all. Anyway, after about 1 year, you'll probably never think about your hair again (unless you want to lower your hairline) cause I think this is gonna be a homerun! Good luck.

    If that was his hairline now and he really had that crazy hairline before, he would be the first man in history to be thankful to have receded.

    What's the name of your doctor? It looks like he failed this surgery completely.

    He's 23, already is a norwood 3, has a limited number of grafts, strip being a procedure that maximizes number of grafts, I'd say it was very smart of him to choose FUT.
