  1. That is not true. Also, Sirnagen was approved as a cosmetic by the EU -- it's so safe that it didn't even have to go through trials. Sirnagen also knows people will not take the drug if there are any sides because people are only taking it b/c they don't wanna take finasteride.
  2. I’m very excited for this – sides free and 80% efficacy as fin.
  3. I just saw the donation reach – this is insane. Stay tuned – we’ll have an update for you shortly about how we’re going to use your money.
  4. This looks cool especially for the number of grafts used – interested in seeing how this turns out density-wise. Are you on meds? Did they recommend beard grafts?
  5. I’m curious on whether he thinks FUT is still the best way for NW7. Does he with today’s technology, almost anyone is a candidate if they’re using FUT + FUE + BHT (besides people with DUPA or something)?
  6. Curious if you had the dark circles/skin aging on topical min.
  7. Wow, if they're able to make this look good with 5300 grafts, that'll be probably the most insane transformation I've seen in my life. Fingers crossed. Which package did you use btw?
  8. I was told he was booked till Jan 2025 for a consultation. Has that changed?
  9. The old follicles would presumably be too damaged to regrow since they were already weakened through DHT but potentially eliminated through the invasiveness of a HT procedure. This is why one of the exclusion criteria for the trials is not having had a HT.
  10. Personally, I'd elect for Eugenix or Medispa based on the results I've seen. Dandruff wouldn't be an issue. You've already balded a lot, so it may not be as necessary as long as you have realistic goals, but I would recommend trying out finasteride/minoxidil to see if you can get to a place where you don't need a transplant.
  11. Here’s a 2 month update. Main side to report is watery semen but nothing else. Feels like my hair has improved slightly, but hard to tell.
  12. I’m already in contact with him and talking to him about it, but if you could reach out to other surgeons, such as Dr. Farjo, that would be great
  13. This is amazing. Would you consider SMPing the crown to create a denser look or would that not help?
  14. Hey everyone, we're beginning to move to the next phase of verteporfin, where we involve multiple doctors and run multiple simultaneous trials (i.e. FUT scar, different dosages, etc), as the initial results look very promising. We are looking for both volunteers and fundraising on this site: www.verteporfin.org. Please reach out to Dr. Barghouthi or donate via the site if you're interested in helping progress the most promising hair loss advancement since FUE over a decade ago.
  15. I'm extremely excited for the histology -- this could be groundbreaking. Literally the first breakthrough since FUE.
  16. No, I believe he’s referring to trying the topical fin again and having ball ache
  17. This is a separate question, but if you were a candidate, then why wouldn't almost anyone else? You were a victim of the worst of hair transplants several years ago, and lost a lot of viable grafts from it. I was told by a doctor that actually most people that appear before him are candidates for surgery, as long as they have realistic expectations (i.e. going from a NW7 -> NW3 but not to a NW1).
  18. Ah good point. What about exosomes or topical dutasteride? Have those been approved? I think those are a lot worse in the FDAs eyes than Verteporfin, yet they’re widely being used.
  19. I don’t think so. It’s already an FDA approved product – it’s just being used off label, the same way thousands of people are taking oral minoxidil off label.
  20. It seems that your baseline photos were removed -- would love to take a look at those to compare myself.
