  1. Hi all, another update on XYON. I describe my dosage below. First week of August 2022, I started XYON with daily application (my post in this thread on Sept 12th 2022 reflected pictures from right before I started XYON). Third week of September 2022, I stopped XYON due to side effects. I tested my DHT- 18 ng/dL(I don't have baseline unfortunately). Testosterone was completely fine. Second week of October 2022, I resumed XYON but only at twice a week application (I felt and continue to feel completely fine with no sides). I continue with twice a week application (before I mentioned considering adding a third day but have not). I have mainly been applying to the crown. Below are photos from a haircut on December 10th 2022. To me, there isn't a change. I am considering adding minoxidil daily (I understand this would disrupt the nature of the campaign, but might be good to know its combined efficacy) Thanks,
  2. Yes, thank you for the feedback. The 2500 will go in the front and top, not in the crown which I plan to manage with medication. Here is a photo of the top.
  3. Hello all, I have an FUE procedure scheduled in about a month. My question is, will my sides look too thin after about 2500 grafts? Is my side hair density too low even for an experienced surgeon? I have course middle-eastern hair. I have never had a hair transplant before. Thanks,
  4. Hi all. Here are my baseline photos. (Much longer hair length and higher photo resolution). No change in my opinion.
  5. Hi All, I am three months into using XYON. However, I have significantly changed the dosage I am using. I describe below. First week of November 2022 I will increase dosage to 3 times a week. I have mainly been applying to the crown. Below are photos from a haircut on October 29th 2022. I apologize for the difference in hair length and photo quality from the original professional photos. To me, there isn't a change. But this very likely due to my inconsistency. MWF application here we come!
  6. Hey man, I definitely notice slight improvement as well. I'll be posting my update this weekend.
  7. I would greatly appreciate anybody's advice on a potential FUE hair transplant timeline (I have very diffuse thinning). I began topical finasteride in early August 2022, then stopped for two weeks at the end of Sept 2022 because I experienced very noticeable side effects (I tested my DHT and it was at 18 ng/DL). Now I apply twice a week just to the crown (before I was getting full coverage). It is unlikely that at this rate of application I will grow back any top-head hair, maybe will receive some growth in the crown area. I am very keen on booking a transplant in December 2022 and focusing on the top-front of the head. I would keep applying XYON to the crown twice a week, which seems to hold my hair in place and might grow back some(?). When I began the topical fin, I was advised to wait a year. Given the experience of side effects and need to reduce topical application, would you say I could move up the HT procedure? Would it be hard to maintain good HT results without consistent topical fin application (I'm not on any other meds)?

Thanks so much for your time and leadership in the hair loss community,

  9. Hello all, I know this is a general question but I would just like to get a sense from the community: Do you believe an FUE procedure is too risky/difficult with my type of diffuse thinning (photo attached)? From folks who have done it with diffuse thinning, was it successful? I'm currently on Topical fin (XYON) and was thinking of getting a transplant in 4 months. Thanks,
  10. How many grafts did you get if you don't mind me asking?
  11. I have not considered that, thank you. Though, I wonder how a large dose of application, even every other day, might induce possible side effects. Given the minor side effect I've already experienced, I might do what you suggest but only apply every MWF. What do you think?
  12. Hi All, Attached are baseline photos (before XYON). I have been on XYON for 4 weeks now. Application: One pump daily to the crown area, then spread as much as I can towards the front. Side Effects Update: I believe I have noticed that my semen is a little more watery. Besides that I haven't experienced any other side effects. I will upload new photos at the two month mark.
