I find this unusual as in some cases even before the ht result has come in they will be left with an island of hair say up front.
I would think thinning areas directly behind the say frontal third would receive a few grafts not at a high density, especially as the ht may look absurd with the contrast from the transplanted hair denser than the thin native hair.
