When did you have your procedure done and who with if you dont mind me asking. Hows the healing and progress going ?

I had my procedure with dr mwamba in Brussels in early November 1900 grafts healing has gone great! Identical to yours at that point nearing 3.5 months now

Will get on oral minoxidil (and oral finasteride) soon, but I'm still doubtful if it will achieve the results I want (my eyebrows always were very sparse, and I want them much fuller and denser than ever), so I'm gathering info about eyebrow transplants in the meantime in case I need it despite using oral minoxidil.

I see them minox foam probably won’t help it’ll make them as thick as they used to be

I would just like to clarify that in no way is anyone trying to tell you that you are not allowed to share your opinion. By all means, share it. Your post was respectful, you just didn’t get the results. Understandable. My first post in this thread was not directed at you.

Huh? I think there’s a misunderstanding lol excellent results for your ht btw!

Thanks!! Yes I am a NW2 or 3. Temple recession although there is still some miniaturization on the temples (some hairs just wont call it quits after 15 years of miniaturization). But the crown, middle, 95% of the front is very strong with no miniaturization.

Do you have a link to the post of the member who did not have to shave with Dr. K? I cant seem to find it.

Sounds like your in the same boat as me my surgery with dr mwamba I paid extra to not get the top shaved lol and def don’t regret it

  5. The partial shave is the way to go if your areas are very exposed in a Norwood 2-3 pattern I didn’t have any of my top shaved just the donor and I def look normal in 4 weeks enough that no one till this day can tell I had anything done it just looked like a bad fade at 2 weeks there is a dr K patient on here recently who had his temples done he didn’t need to shave at all he had long hair

Just wanted to update. I re-ordered nanoxidil but by mistake selected minoxidil. I used it for like a week and hair started to fall out. All that hair on crown and temples above this post is basically thin again. So annoying. 😫 Safe to say I am not using minoxidil again and hopefully the hair grows back using nanoxidil. This isnt a for or against minoxidil just me posting results as they happen.

Nanoxidil? Interesting id like to try this do you have a link? Is it as safe as min

    Dillpickle,

We have to respectfully disagree with you. The patient has noticeably more volume in the transplanted area and a noticeable improvement in the plan area that was discussed and agreed upon with Dr. Arocha. Two years later, the result looks incredibly natural (no one would ever guess he had a transplant) for someone who has fine hair. It's age appropriate and an overall nice improvement for this patient. And, if he decides he wants more, Dr. Arocha didn't deplete his donor area completely, giving the patient options to work with in the future.

Well I disagree with you and I will repeat it again if the patient is happy which by the sound of it he is then that’s all that matters that doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to share my opinion on it which I’ve made obvious

Hi all - I’m a 37 yr male with a NW3 (been this way for 12-15 years) looking to get a FUE with an estimated graft count of 1850-2000.

Since I’m in Florida, I was looking at doctor Aron Nussbaum however I can’t find any reviews of his work other than what the clinic posts. I know his father is well regarded. His clinic uses Artas which seems to be controversial on here.

Given his pricing is pretty expensive ($8-$9 a graft) for FUE, I wanted to ask A) does anyone here have any experience with him? B) What would be my other options for FUE docs that don’t have a super long waiting list?

    thanks

Do you have pictures of your hairloss? I would avoid the atras especially at this price
