I have this EXACT issue. Of course it doesn't show if I keep my hair long, but I also do like the shorter hair look. Im starting to look into getting this done.
The result of the SMP looks amazing. How much does something like this cost? Would I need to shave my head?ÂYou probably need to get a bald fade in the area for them to be able to work on it

Lots of hairs growing in right on cue the next couple months it will look much fuller as you can see I have not cut my hair since the transplant it’s also helped show my hair type better it’s a lot more wavy as it grows longerÂ

I use febron dark brown black be looking too fake but I’m also curious which one is bestÂ
-
They could’ve gone to dr zarev not anymore igÂ
-
How bad is your hairloss? Why can’t you transplant where your smp is right now that isn’t terribly low and I think frames your face greatÂ

Looks incredible at 3 months! You are are way ahead of schedule đź‘ŤÂ

Yes The front area was the most crucial for me, so I went to the best clinic I could afford.
The top and crown areas are also important, but I feel that a reasonable-enough doctor should suffice.
Though I'd happily go again to BHR if it wasn't so expensiveVery smart and interesting strategy lol đź‘Ť don’t think I’ve seen it done hereÂ

Thanks for your reply. If Dr. Mohebi has an office in SF would you recommend him?
If your dead set on only sf then yes I would personally search around there’s many great surgeons in the US and abroadÂ
-
The only one that I think might have an office in San Francisco is dr Parsa mohebi look him up for a consultÂ

I just need some “filler” hair around my hairline-nothing to dramatic.
To be honest there’s no one in the Bay Area I would recommend there was one surgeon who was recommended here but his recent results have been very subparÂ

Interesting strategy to get the hairline done at BHR and the crown and midscalp somewhere else đź‘Ť following closelyÂ

If your on fin you would hope the native hair will hold on to survive surgery H&W is one of the best though so your in good handsÂ

Thanks for your reply. I am not willing to travel very far-preferably staying in the SF Bay Area. The work I would need is not extensive-primarily filling out a bit in the hairline due to a previous procedure some 35 years ago.
Wow 35 years ago? Does it look pluggy

Are you saying that I need another transplant session to get the density?
I would expect ~2800 grafts were more than enough for my case..Â
I hope that the last 4 months produce more density for you and I agree nearly 3k grafts should’ve been enough to produce full density have you tried applying fibers like toppik or febron? It would help make it looks very thickÂ

greetings,
I am looking for any suggestions of HT surgeon in the San Francisco Bay area? Primarily for some hairline tailoring. Looking forward to your help. Thanks!
I’m from the Bay Area as well I went to Europe for it there is no one really in the Bay Area are you willing to travel? And is price a factor? How bad is it rnÂ

I do I had my transplant nov 11th played soccer during thanksgiving scored a goal with my head actually haha hair is great almost 4 months inÂ
-
I think because you have very straight hair and they’re transplanting a totally bald area it Gonna take another go at it to get full density once the transplanted hair has matured and strengthenedÂ
-
When I did my surgery in nov dr mwamba did talk about opening a clinic in his native Congo the prices are going to be cheaper then Belgium from what he told me as the cost of living is cheaper don’t know much else besides thatÂ

What was your before? Before the 2 transplants

Thanks Gatsby I love how the donor turned out! No thinness at all! I suffered some shock loss month 1-2 but being on this forum for so long I knew not to worry one bit! When I get a haircut I’ll be sure to share how the donor looks at a lower length but very happy with the donor Dr mwamba did a great jobÂ
