    Hello there!

I want to get a beard implant in order to fill in some patches, my underlip and gain a higher overall density.

I’ve started researching clinics that do beard implants, but it looks like there isn’t much feedback available from guys that underwent such a procedure(or at least I don’t know where to look for reviews).

Considering all this, could you, please, help me out a litte bit regarding a good clinic?

I’m not looking for cheap. I want quality work, done by a doctor, not a technician, hairs taken from my neck beard(or scalp?! let me know which one you think is better).

Moreover, any info regarding a beard implant is highly appreciated.

    Thank you!!

Try minoxidil first it worked very well for me

I agree with everyone else you are too young and you aren’t on meds to stabilize your hairloss. No ethical surgeon would touch you yet. You should try low dosage oral finasteride at least and maybe even in combination with topical. I currently take .5 mg every other day and on the days I don’t take it I use topical at night. It’s pretty much stopped my hair loss. Another thing you say you have a great donor area but the nape area above your neck seems a little thin based on that picture. You shouldn’t see scalp at that length.  Do yourself a favor and consider finasteride and reconsider surgery in a few years when you’ve turned 25 only if you’ve stabilized the hair loss. In the meantime use this forum and search function to research the hell out of this crazy industry so you understand the real risks. Finally, don’t limit yourself to California. Research. Research. RESEARCH!

I get bald fades So the nape area looks thinner

FUE still leaves scars as well. Most patients probably cannot get the "bald fade" after having surgery. It's not a quick fix it and forget. It's a life long commitment. You are showing significant miniaturization at a young age so more than likely you will progress. Wait and try medical therapy if it bothers you before getting a hair transplant.

Ik it leaves scars but the smaller the punch the less chance of prominent scars

You seem to have very minimal hair loss. I wouldn't go in for a procedure as yet. Get on meds and wait it out. The risk is not worth the reward in your case.

Well I can’t get the hairstyle I want with my current hairline my right side has always been higher and worse than my left, if I can keep it like this how much grafts would I need? I would like a natural result filling in the thinning and hopefully with smaller fue punches since I like to get bald fades

How old are you? I would say hold off from surgery. You have a good hairline, preserving it should be your goal.

22, i want to try topical propecia but I don’t think it would help my temples a lot the rest of my hair is thick and I think I have a great donor for a small fue, could it be that my hairline is maturing or is this mpb

  7. Hi I’ve been thinking of getting a hair transplant in the next year to couple years I have had thinning in the temple region and have had this for the past 3 years now it hasn’t really gotten worse but judging by the amount I think I would need about 1200 grafts I’m looking for any recommendations on a good fue doctor that uses smaller punch size and does natural hairlines as pictures below will show the temples I’ve been using minoxidil but have been weary of propecia thinking of using topical propecia  pics are as follows (right side, worse side) left side, top and donor and ideal result
