  1. If you would fill in those areas in this young age, you would have to do HT every couple of years to fill in other bald areas. I remember reading of a guy filling his left temple, after 2 years he started loosing much hair om his right temple and made another HT to fill it. And after a couple of years his hair loss accelerated and he lost almost all of frontal hair, except the temples, it looked extremely odd... I started loosing hair at 22, and I'm 33 now and planning to do my first HT in the coming months because My hair loss has stabilized, and I'm extremely glad i didnt do HT in the beginning as I would just be on a HT Hunt every year.
  2. Yea the exosomes seems to be a next level prp thing with stem cells and other cells. Its seems promising since I see alot of US based clinics implenting it, with great results. Happy to hear that you are satisfied with the HT scar. Did you have pic to share on the scar with short hair?
  3. Well, I've been quoted Up to 5000 grafts by other clinics (which I think is way too much). The lowest I've got is about 3500 grafts (except Dr. Saifi). I'm in contact with Dr. Saifi and he has previously quoted me 2000 grafts. I asked him if he can increase it to 2500-3000 grafts but he doesnt want my to focus on the technical details, wait for the real life consultation and thereafter focus on how to take care of my hair after the HT. He believes that much of my hair (crown) can be saved by treatment, probably exosomes. I will probably talk with him by phone the coming days. Have you had the exosomes injections and if so, did they help and how much do they cost?
  4. Hello man, Would love to see how the scar has healed in the donor region if you have pic to share? Im also considering Saifi and would probably go for FUT
  5. I hope its just a shedding/resting phase, but also worried since I want to do HT in 4-5 months. Ive lost much hair on the temples and front/middle scalp so thats why I want to do HT. I've pretty much shave everything of twice every month and rock a beard, it suits me pretty well but Im getting tired of this one look. I dont take any meds or minoxidil. I tried fin but got sides and quit.
  6. But the thing is that It wasnt this thin with small patches here and there just a couple months ago, and I've planned to do HT so this got me worried. But I dont know, it could just be normal shedding phase.
  7. Hello everyone, Can you please help me see what is going on with My hair on sides and below temples. The past few months I've noticed that my hair got noticeable thinner with small patches here and there. I have attached pics on the sides. Is it regular alopecia or alopecia areata, or perhaps due to increased stress and ciggaretes smoking?
  8. The thing is that with a bald/shaved head, I only got one look, and that's the bad/tough and more masculine look (even though I'm far away from a bad guy). I get tired of having the same look day after day. And It became extremely obvious to me that people behaved differently towards me when I started shaving. I got generally more "respect" and taken more seriously but I also often feel like some people are little intimidated haha As my work is having me meet alot of people, I would love to have the option to switch my look depending on circumstances. And another big factor is frankly that I miss the "old" me, to style my hair.
  9. I was around 22 years (about 10 years ago), a close friend in university told me that my hair was thinning. So I asked other friends if it were true because I didnt see any thinning, and no one noticed anything. So I thought that my friend was jealous because I got more girls But after about 2 years, I heard it from my sisters husband, and when I examined really closely I noticed that I really started to get thinner hair. I immediately jumped on minoxidil. But around 2 years ago, the hair loss started accelerating and it became very obvious that I was balding and I couldnt keep the same hairstyle, especially when people would comment time and time again, so I shaved everything of. But to my surprise, I liked that way I looked with shaved head, so it didnt affect me that much at all. I also got married and My wife liked it...
  10. Looking really nice 👌 Do you usually cut the hair Short on the sides and back? How does the donor area look?
  11. @Rossybop Wow man it looks really good, basically untouched. Hope the results in the recipient area will be just as Good. Cant wait to see your progress in the coming months
  12. Sounds great man, really hope you get great results. Can you please upload a photo after you buzz the sides and back, would love to see how well the donor area healed and held up. Cheers mate.
  13. Hello mate, How is the progress working out for you?
  14. Do you remeber when the scar stretched? When is was (or should have been) completely healed? I am considering FUT but this made me concerned
  15. I started taking ginger shots (for health reasons) every day the past month and after 1-1/2 weeks use my folliculitis on the hair were gone. Nothing the doctors had prescribed me before had helped, so I was very surprised that suddenly the folliculitis were getting less and less inflamed and suddenly gone. What I know, the redness is kind of inflammation still going on (correct me if I'm wrong), and as ginger is anti-inflammatory it wouldn't hurt to try it for a couple of weeks. It was the only thing I changed in my diet so it must have been the ginger shots in my case that eliminated the folliculitis, and I guess it's because of the anti-inflammatory properties in ginger.
  16. Wow first time I've heard of this metod of removing the old scar and taking 2nd strip from same area. How long did you do the exercises?
  17. Really good result Did you do scalp elasticity exercises before the FUT? And regarding the second transplant, did he take the 2'nd strip below or above the first strip?
  18. Wow nice results! Did you do scalp elasticity exercises before the FUT? Did he take the strip from the area you previously had FUE? Do you recent pictures of the scar? Lol many questions, but I am 50/50 contemplating between FUE and FUT, need to transplant about 2000-2500 grafts.
  19. I dont think it looks that bad. The donor area is easily covered if you dont trim your hair very short, and recepient area is also not that bad. But maybe your pictures doesnt show how bad it really is? I have seen waaay worse in real life. I have a friend that is basically semi bald and looks like a cancer patient with extremely Little hair left in the donor area and extremely Little to No hair on top and front. Your case is easily repaired with body hair or smp, or both. I would suggest to rock a longer hair for a while, save money and go to a experienced Doctor.
  20. Here is a picture. The crown is not as bad in real life as it is on the picture so my priority is mid/front scalp for now. I will for sure need another transplant in the future so that is why I am opting for FUT more than FUE, atleast right now.
  21. Looks really nice. I am also planning to go for Dr Saifi, Will probably book for february. However he also quoted me 2000 grafts which i think is too little, I thought I need 3000 grafts, 2500 grafts at the very least. I have been quoted 3500-4000 grafts by other clinics. But he seems to be very Good with FUT which i think I would go for. Will you go for a check Up the next Day?
  22. What do you think of folliculitis and hair transplant? I always have some folliculitis popping up on my scalp, about 5-10 of them at a time, sometimes they go away sometimes make a comeback.
  23. Thank you for the answer, will check out Hasson and Wong videos. I guess 4 weeks is not enough to notice a different in my case. I want to do the surgery in January, maximum in february, do you think I can achieve better elasticity in two months? Did you feel that your scalp got more elasticity?
  24. I am considering dr Saifi in Poland right now, he has 24 years of experience, excellent merits, seems to prefer FUT over FUE, and also does 'trichophytic closure' which supposedly is a very good closing technique for FUT. No I don't take any fin and no minoxidil. I used minoxidil 2% during a few years but stopped couple of years ago because I simply got tired of using it. I have not had in person consultations because no one in my country does FUT, and the FUE clinics a very few and average. Poland is 1.5 hours away with plane so I might go there and have consultation or just book for FUT in January an continue using elasticity exercises (perhaps more frequent) and hope for the best. No doc has told me that I have tight scalp, it just feels like I have tight scalp on the middle part of my back head because I cannot pinch the skin together with my thumb and finger. The sides are no problem, I can pinch the skin... So that made me thinking of how they would be able to cut a strip out and sew it.
