Maximos,
there’s a reason the nurse scrubbed your scalp in a rough manner instead of gentle. As I mentioned above, the graphs would need surgical removal if you wanted to get rid of them. They cannot be dislodged in this point.
you know it’s interesting though, for your mental and emotional effect a hair transplant can have on you. Things we know very well and advise others on become real concerns when we are going through it ourselves. I went through for hair transplants and I experience the same concerns throughout each and everyone of them even though After I’ve been through a few times, I am not on you what to expect but I’ve experienced it. Let me stop you from having concerns and worries. The only thing that helps to eradicate those concerns was posting on the form getting support and advice from others. I encourage you keep doing that

Agreed. I remember seeing posts on here of people worrying about the ugly duck phase and how it affects them and i just laughed as from 4 months on, its fine and gets better.
being 5 weeks in now post op, lol.. i feel the concern, although I keep telling myself, its ok.

So its been about 5 weeks from my surgery, and my shedding of my hair has started to slow down dramatically. Now, I'd be lucky if even 2 hairs came out while showering and applying shampoo.
Im in the ugly duck phase, and its cold outside, so perfect opportunity to hide it by wearing a beanie to work and outdoors
Patiently waiting...

That's incredible, the hairline to frame the face already makes a massive difference.
Thank you!
Just need everything else to fill in now

Depends.. Are you noticing hair come out when you take a shower? For me, the shedding started last week and has calmed down a bit. Eugenix said up to 3 months it may shed.
Ugly duck phase mode.

yeah if there was censoring as you say, then this thread wouldve been locked and/or deleted. not buying that part.
As for the dr, thats a very good and detailed post, lets hear what Melvin and Pat have to say.

he's asking for advice and ignoring it upfront aswell
Honestly if he really was NW7 judging from pictures his HT result actually looks really good, only donor needs some work to look less evident
SMP, hairstyle, repair with bht.. there's a lot of things that could be done, and a random ass head tattoo or "diy SMP" is def not one of them 😅
Yup. I thought there was a lot of good advice in here

VERRRRY interested in seeing this.
I chose dr bansal for my first and thinking of going with dr das for my crown.

Way to put me on the spot, haha. I think I can confidently say I would feel comfortable with Dr. Das at 120 rupees. I got to meet her and see her work and dedication first hand. If I earned a living in rupees then the 75 package.
Yup I would agree!

I have a few thoughts
1) This is an access issue. The demand for Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal is nothing like I ever seen before. When I had the honor of spending some time with them in NYC and in Delhi, Dr. Sethi would get a phone call or message every 5 minutes from another person who wants a hair transplant. They are only 2 people and can only do so many surgeries. They need to have other doctors help.
2) To compound on the access issue, the 75 ruppee package is very important for their patients from India. They do not have the luxury of converting dollars, euros, or pounds to ruppees. They also need quality care at a price they can afforrd. To put this in perspective 75 ruppees per graft comes out to about 1 dollar per graft. What other clinic can provide the results they have at that price point.
3) Dr. Bansal and Dr. Sethi are very hands on with the clinic and the training of all their staff. I've mentioned it before but all of the techs have been there for years and come from Dr. Sethis home town which is small poor village. Even when they were vacationing in NYC they were managing the clinic very closely.
4) Full disclosure as a first time HT patient and some one who could leverage dollars I did choose the highest package. At the same time, after seeing their clinic first hand I think I would feel confident picking a lower package if I need a second pass.
Would you choose the 75 one :O
-
Im considering doing the crown and maybe lowering hairline by the second package. Not sure if i'd be comfortable with the 75 rupees one.

@BaldingEagle1. What shampoos or conditioner are you using and how often
I use these two (both Dove):
and I apply it almost every day (sometimes every other day).
Shampoo:
Conditioner:
It works very well, no itchyness, smells amazing and of course scalp is clean, so win-win.

also i mean, if you cannot afford top artist, then what?
what is diy route?
yesi can afford it for once, but every year it is not possible unfortunately, that is why i think of tattoo. I am not with good fortune, unfortunately i do not live in reach country and the smp cost is my wholemonth salary maybe 2-3 months.
yes i do not need hairline, there is transplantated area. i want to get smp only on donor area
youre literally making the same mistake with ur HT by not doing thorough research and thinking things through.

Well, its been 4 weeks for your boy post OP.
A month.. ahh.. so for the past 4-6 days, my shedding phase has started lol.. Its not as aggressive but im sure over time the shedding phase will be noticeable. Attaching pics of:
1. Close up of recipient. (First 3 pics)
2. Distance (for aesthetics purposes only)- next batch of 3 pics
3. Donor close up. (last 3 pics).
I guess I enter the sucky part of the recovery period haha
-
How has your scabs not come out yet? All of mine came out 7-9 days..
-
Most people who have gone to Eugenix admit that either package would be fine, but to each their own. Dr Bansal and Dr Sethi are probably one of the top 15 drs in the world, so you have to pay a premium for their services, but their staff is very well trained.
I know dr sethi runs a tight ship.

95 Days Post OP - Should I be worried ? Seeing those gaps in between transplanted hairs with hairs too thin and Harsh Lighting just exposes the scalp

OP, im at 5 weeks. the ugly phase sucks my man. Just be patient and try and remember (trust me its hard, i know) that most results take 6-10 months where you truly see things happen.
Hang in there!! Your result im sure will be amazing!
