Hey guys,
*2 week update*
It's been about 14 days now and all the scabs have come out and miniature hair has started to grow now. Expecting the shedding phase to begin anytime soon. Attaching a pic of my current condition 14 days post transplant and a pic of 2020 15 days after shaving my head clean.
Love the growth man!
it’s lookin good. Can’t wait for the final result. Hopefully you don’t have a bad shedding phase and avoid that ugly duckling phase!
either way it’s looking to be an awesome result!

Hey man,
Looks amazing. I got mine done too around the same time as you did from a doctor in Pune, after extensive research of course.
So are you hard rejecting finasteride for sure? Isn't that imperative in thickening and saving the existing hair? I'm considering taking dutasteride for a while since I did have a decent amount of hair pre-op which was aggressively thinning.
Also do check out my case and let me know what you think.
Im planning on having a couple of kids, and wife is a dr, and she's totally against it, so I gave her 2.5 years lol

How much was your transplant?
It’s their old price so it’s irrelevant, but it’s on the first page what package I chose.
which on their website is 210 rupees per graft.

Very clean work by Eugenix.
the scabs coming out will feel really good on day 7

You are a trooper man. I didn’t dare to clean my head until day 7! And also did it twice a day until day 9 where all my scabs came out
it was unbearably itchy for me on day 2 and 3, but subsided since.
lookin good so far- 1

Anyone got recommendations to help stay on back whilst sleeping. I am a side sleeper and will be rolling all over the place
Neck pillow helps A LOT!

So after HT, you need to sleep on back?
or did they recommend any position
Definitely on back and if you have your temples done they strongly recommend on back or slightly elevated for the first 7 days only.
after that, no restrictions.

Bro is there any issue wearing winter beanie after 7/8 days post ht?
I was told to wear a loose cap for 2 weeks, so I would assume to hold off 🤷🏽♂️, especially a beanie.

Today marks 9 days post op.
eugenix told me I can play sports with no restrictions, so play sand volleyball today for like 4 hours lol.
also all scabs are out. Now it’s all about the wait game

Check out @user2022’s thread. I believe he did some beard.
I was supposed to get 500 beard grafts but thank god my side locks were thick and made up for it. Didn’t wanna get injected in the beard haha

If i remember you also opted not to take finasteride correct - what alternatives were given by the doctors in this case , i am also not planning to take Fin due to side effects
Yeah they advised me to take vitamins like biotin, but I already do a high protein diet so I don’t need to take it.

There are rare clinics where doctors insert grafts. Usually technicians do it. In Eugenix that is always done by technicians. When you chose Arika or Sethi you are promised to get most experienced technicians. But in practice technicians change a lot, what is sort of normal, since no one can work 12 hours and more. So at some time there was 2 technicians working and at other moment there was 5. I believe you can go with Dr Das and save some money. I am sure all technicians work at some standard.
Recently did mine and I chose the dr bansal package.
she did the slits, and hairline design.
she also checked the grafts in first day.
second day she was not there, and the techs who worked with me were the same.
they have been working with eugenix for 7-8 years..
I believe there was a question about where they require techs to witness a minimum amount of procedures before they touch a patient.
not 100% sure on that

Glad you found the video helpful, the work looks exceptional.
Yeah! My uncle who did it in turkey was in awe at the work and compared it to his where it was a mess. Hopefully results come out as nice too

@BaldingEagle1 Great write up - very thorough . Quick question though , when i looked at your transplanted pics , i see the crown area is left out (towards the back of the head) . Was this intentional ?... I have the same pattern as you so wondering the reason behind it
Thank you
EDITED : Never mind..i found the answer... you wanted to initially do the hairline and mid
Yup haha and to add context to it, this was my first transplant so I wanted to be very conservative. Didn’t want to put all my eggs in one basket. Let’s hope it grows fine, but I would say based on the work and how clean it is, I’m very confident in their work.
I’ll be going for the crown and aggressive hairline (TBD about the hairline) in 6-7 months. Similar to @Bandit90’s strategy.
hearing from both dr sethi and bansal how “excellent” my donor is and how good by beard is, it also made me at ease a bit. (Even though dr bansal said my head area is big. 🤣🤣)

So today was day 7.
as per eugenix post op team, no more restrictions!! (Except if I wanted to wear a cap, lol!)
so did the first wash. Had no idea wth to do. So I checked out @Melvin- Moderator’s video on his YouTube channel of how to wash out the scabs.
was so helpful! About 30-40% of scabs are off. I have a weird tingling sensation on my head as I guess it’s a little sensitive.
so I’ll continue tomorrow.
I haven’t resumed my gym and sport activities yet. Although I do hope to resume them this weekend finally! I can finally sleep how the hell I want to as well. So happy about that!!
Will post 2 pics.
1st is how it looks post wash and 2nd is pre-wash.
