I also agree with the repair to choose another clinic unless you’re adamant about it.

I recall seeing donor areas looking over harvested on a few recent threads, but I cannot find them now when I search in the forum's archives.
I think if you go with Dr. Sethi you should feel confident in the result being good, for the others I cannot speak since I haven't seen enough results.
A few of them were people jumping the gun, and overreacting. There was 1 or 2 in the past 6 months where it seemed over harvested. And they were done by dr bansal.
quality of work has been fine, just those few.

I would highly recommend Eugenix to list their doctors on their website with a brief introduction like how they have for dr bansal + sethi.
maybe the media team can make that happen- 3

I did post the story but the moderator took it down. Told me off for jumping on a post. I'm new to all this so forgive me.....
I hear what you are saying. They sprung the blood tests on me after I'd paid in full. I was asked to do a blood pressure test before that which I did and gave to them. You would've thought he'd have mention it at the same time. After I'd paid I asked if I could book flights. Rishabh said yes. They was no mention of blood tests until a day or so later. I had done most of them already as I'd done a testosterone test and the lady selected everything available at the time as an m.o.t.
I asked my gp surgery to do the remaining tests - hiv 1 and 2 / hepatitus b and c / blood sugar and blood coag.
They said no as it was for hair transplant.
As it was sprung on me, it left hardly any time as xmas was coming up. I did also have lots of other things to deal with as well. Not also forgetting postal strikes,
I ordered an nhs online sexual health test which contains hiv and hepa. I did this and sent it off. I hadn't received any results so I phoned up. They told me that the labs had only just done them and I was negative for the hivs and hepas. I also dont have chlamydia or syphillis!
Anyway, I emailed these results to Rishabh and they were unacceptable as not in pdf format. I phoned up the test place and was told they dont send out emails, only texts.
It was agreed that I could do the tests in India. I said no problem. I had after all done all but 2 tests and I know I'm not diabetic and that my blood coag is ok given how many times I poked my fingers with the testing kit
I did ask why they wanted to repeat the tests they had from my doctor in pdf format. I received no answer. I mentioned mattdominance was keen to do a video with me. You would think they would want the publicity. I totally understand they have a duty of care when it comes to hiv etc. I asked whether their staff were regularly tested for this as it goes both ways and again this was ignored.
Then out of the blue this morning I receive an email from Swarnim saying they agree to my request to cancel and I would get my refund within 6 months! I never requested a refund, I was happy to do the tests again.
6 months is also a ridiculous amount of time for a refund. If they want to cancel then that's up to them but I see no reason why they couldn't transfer it back to me within a week so I can book elsewhere.
I
It sounds like a huge misunderstanding, but please next time whoever you choose find out everything.
tbh, speaking for myself, I researched for 4-5 years every detail. It helps to avoid any surprises.
the refund thing is long as hell and I’m curious as to why it’s that long.
but honestly, being Indian myself, I expect for random complications like that to happen.. I’m so sorry you had to deal with it.

Omg..Really? 210 rupees now?!?!?!
ughhh.. gotta decide if my crown is something I wanna do with them now lol

6 weeks passed. Got the wife to trim my overall head. Sides were growing too fast and I wanna try and avoid that ugly duck phase as much as possible lol
Didnt go as short as @Zoomsterdid in his 4 weeks trim, but basically untouched the recepient, and trimmed everything around at 1.5, which is about 4.8mm.

Uh, for those bashing this guy, six months for a refund is absolutely, absolutely outrageous and completely unacceptable. There is no good reason why a refund should take anywhere near that long. Moreover, if you paid by credit card, you won't be able to chargeback after a specified amount of time. For Visa, it is four months.
Not bashing at all. Just need the whole story. I edited my post because I don’t have patience for the drama. But my point still stands about the blood tests.
In regards to refund, depends on your form of payment. International bank transfer refunds take like 2 months. Not sure about indias policies.
and of course credit cards should be different and I have no idea what englands refund policies are as well.

I am lining up for a late summer (where I live) procedure with Eugenix, for an autumn / winter to go through the motions.
I see your beanie and like the idea! When is it safe to wear normal hats / beanies without concerns (e.g. ensuring its lose or big)?
Normally they said after a week is fine but I waited until the shedding phase began lol

@BaldingEagle1 They do have a location in Mumbai but little availability. The only package they have is with the head doctor and its $4.23 USD per graft which is just insane. After getting there it would be a bit more than $5 per graft. The plastic surgeons in manhattan where I live charge $6.
Mm gotcha

The idea that masturbation causes hair loss, affects hair or prevents surgical hair restoration from meeting its maximum potential is just about as old as time itself. In other words, nothing about masturbating or sexuality in any way will affect your hair good or bad… unless of course any of your interests include extreme hair pulling which I would not recommend.
I hope this helps

When would you recommend the rough hair pulling sessions to resume?

OP, im at 5 weeks. the ugly phase sucks my man. Just be patient and try and remember (trust me its hard, i know) that most results take 6-10 months where you truly see things happen.
Hang in there!! Your result im sure will be amazing!

Maximos,
there’s a reason the nurse scrubbed your scalp in a rough manner instead of gentle. As I mentioned above, the graphs would need surgical removal if you wanted to get rid of them. They cannot be dislodged in this point.
you know it’s interesting though, for your mental and emotional effect a hair transplant can have on you. Things we know very well and advise others on become real concerns when we are going through it ourselves. I went through for hair transplants and I experience the same concerns throughout each and everyone of them even though After I’ve been through a few times, I am not on you what to expect but I’ve experienced it. Let me stop you from having concerns and worries. The only thing that helps to eradicate those concerns was posting on the form getting support and advice from others. I encourage you keep doing that

Agreed. I remember seeing posts on here of people worrying about the ugly duck phase and how it affects them and i just laughed as from 4 months on, its fine and gets better.
being 5 weeks in now post op, lol.. i feel the concern, although I keep telling myself, its ok.

Good news is that there’s many months of growing, all we can do is wait and see your results. Hope they turn out amazing in the coming months if you don’t like where you’re at now.
